The Johto Region

From the tall, snowy, peak of Mt. Silver. All the way to the shore of Olivine City, the Johto Region features a variety of fascinating Pokemon. Some people use their Pokemon to battle others. These people are known as Pokemon trainers and are always on the move to battle Pokemon Gyms. These gyms each feature a gym leader, who specializes in one type of Pokemon. If the said trainer defeats the gym leader in battle, they will earn a gym badge. Once you earn a trainer earns all eight gym badges, he or she may go on to battle every trainer's dream, The Pokemon League. There are also some who prefer to enter their Pokemon in contests known as Pokemon Contests. These people are known as coordinators. A coordinators job is to train a team of show-ready Pokemon, being that they should be able to preform for three judges, whether it be in battle or appealing moves. Although these two jobs are quite interesting, there are some who like to explore the Pokemon world and catch as many Pokemon as they can. They later breed those Pokemon and keep them as pets or give them two a research lab to research the Pokemons behavior. These people are called Breeders. As you can see, the Johto Region has endless possibilities. Where will you fit in?​

So this is basically a journey RP. We will all be trainers/breeders/coordinators and be traveing through the Johto Region. The reason that I didn't pick the Kanto Region (because I know that is where most people start a series of RPs) is because I have looked throught all the old journey RPs that have been quite successful and I have found that Johto RPs are what most people enjoy and adequately post on. I am looking for generally experienced RPers, for I would like to learn a thing from you. Also because this RP will be focusing on character development. Going from complete strangers to best friends and going from nobodies to champions.

Appearance:
Lewis is quite tall for his age, standing at 6'3, and has a rather fair complexion. He has a stocky, well-conditioned musculature, due to a vigorous lifestyle. Lewis has shaggy light brown that tends to curl out on the sides. He also has hard, icy, turquoise eyes, that seem as if they're staring right through you.

Lewis usually sports jeans and a t-shirt, but likes to mix it up a little. He will sometimes wear a leather or denim jacket over his shirt and is normally seen wearing his signature gray and red baseball cap over his head. Another notable feature in Lewis' apparel is the silver, dragon-shaped pennant around his neck.

Personality:
Lewis is naturally a kind boy. He loves to help out and enjoys making new friends. Lewis is mostly optimistic, having a postive outlook on most things. However, he is quick to react to things and is always the first to lose his temper. But, he will generally stay pretty calm unless something disturbs him. Lewis enjoys joking around, which is good, at times, as well as bad, at times, because he finds it hard to take things seriously, almost as if the world is one big joke.

History: Lewis was born and raised in Olivine City, coming from a long line of Pokemon trainers. His parents were killed in an automobile accident when Lewis was very young, and he was forced to live with his abusive grandfather. Lewis' grandfather was a scientist, and paid more attention to his work than he did to the boy. Lewis was neglected, and he learned how to take care of himself. One day, while he was strolling along the beach, Lewis came across an injured Vaporeon. He rushed the mortified Pokemon back home where he doused it with Potions and the like. Once it was healed up, the Vaporeon decided to stay with Lewis, as one of his only close friends. When he turned 15, Lewis decided to leave his grandfather once and for all and start his journey.

Jennifer has long brown hair that reaches up to her hips.She has bangs that fall freely on her face and some on both sides of her face(Like Dawn's/Hikari's and other anime characters).She's 5'5" in height with light blue eyes and fair skin tone.

In her pink body bag (like Hilda's/Touko's/White's),you will find many stuff,clothes,and accessories.

For regular occasions,like traveling for example,she wears a blue sleeveless mini dress with a white belt and flower-shaped buckle.Under her mini dress is a long-sleeved white inner shirt with bubbly sleeves reaching until the wrist.Under the mini-dress,she's wearing white stockings.For footwear,she's wearing light blue boots with the same flower-shaped buckle like the one in her belt.She puts a light blue headband on her hair to match her clothes.

During Pokémon Contests,she changes her clothes to a short-sleeved light blue dress that reaches until above her knees.It has a light pink ribbon tied behind her as a belt.The sleeves on her dress are short and bubbly with white longer sleeves under it that reaches until her wrists.She also wears white stockings like in her regular clothes.For footwear,she wears blue dancing shoes.For her hair,she sometimes ties her hair up in a neat ponytail with her bangs and hair on both sides of her face still there,curls her hair up,put her hair up in pigtails with curls on both sides of her face,and other hairstyles she thinks of.Sometimes,the long white sleeves are removed and replaced by white gloves instead that reaches either until her elbows or until her wrists.

She also has special clothes for winter and other occasions.

Personality:
Jennifer is a very sweet,kind,and caring girl.She is someone who anyone can rely on.She is also very honest.But she's lacking of confidence and is pretty shy.When she's being watched many people,she gets very nervous and sometimes freezes or messes up.In times of trouble,she's always being optimistic.She doesn't panic.She doesn't get mad very easily.But when she does,she gets her cool back by taking a deep breath.

History:
Jennifer was born in Littleroot Town in Hoenn but moved to Hearthrome City,Sinnoh at the age of 5.She was raised in a wealthy family;a mother who was a top coordinator and a father who had beaten the Elite Four at Hoenn and Sinnoh.Since her father was usually training,she was always with her mother watching her win in Pokémon Contests.Very inspired and dazzled by the creativity and beauty of contests,she had now dreamed of becoming a top coordinator like her mother one day.On her 12th birthday,they moved to Goldenrod City in Jotho.She was given a Plusle and a Minun as a gift from her parents before she started her journey.

Appearance: Alex has medium length brown hair, sweeping to one side of his face. He is 5" 7 in height with green eyes and a dark skin tone.

Alex dresses causally and can often been seen wearing simple clothes. He wears a plain blue zip-up hoodie with white trimmings, only half done up, and underneath the hoodie, he wears a plain green T-Shirt. For his trousers, he wears worn out jeans, which sit below his pelvis. This is the main style that Alex wears, and may change his colour over a period of time.

As accessories, Alex wears a baseball cap all the time and also carries around a rucksack, which holds all his essential needs.

Personality:

Alex is a very kind, fun person, who makes friends really easily. One of Alex's hobbies is cooking, and after several years of perfecting, he is an amazing cook. Alex rarely looses his cool, however when someone mentions his birth-parents, Alex looks lost and down, brining back nightmares from the orphanage.



History:

Alex didn't really know much about his birth-parents. They died when he was 1, and Alex spent most of his childhood in an orphanage. There teased by the other children, Alex felt alone and lonely. Until one day, when he was adopted by a local baker and his wife.

Living with the bakers, Alex's learnt a lot about morals and manners. Along with his cooking and his morals and manners, Alex said goodbye to his family and headed off on his journey. However before Alex could leave, the Baker gave him a gift. Munchlax.

Nickname: The Daring*

Age: 14

Appearance: At exactly six feet two, Eliot's a little tall for his age. He has fairly long blue hair, mostly because he hates the barber's shop (He's worried about getting his ears chopped off.) He usually dresses in formal styles, usually wearing a tuxedo vest, button up shirt, tie, slacks, and dress shoes. He always wears a pair of pink heart-shaped sunglasses, and has uncommonly large blue eyebrows. He also wears a pair of kitty ears for some reason.

Personality: Eliot was raised to be a gentleman. He is very polite and well mannered, and will always serve others before himself. He's the kind of person who would give anyone the shirt off their back, and their pants, shoes, socks, heart-shaped sunglasses, and tie as well. He is also constantly awed by the feminine form, often rhapsodizing on the beauty of women he meets, and hitting on most females and pretty men. However, he will never disrespect a woman, and is very chivalrous.

History: Eliot's parents were a pair of astronauts named Ben and Elvis. They lived on Cinnabar island. But when the volcano erupted, his parents sent him to the moon on the family rocketship with Aron while they helped people escape. They died in the fires. Eliot, meanwhile, was crashed on the moon, where he lived off of rocks and coconuts. He eventually built himself a new ship and went back to earth to become a Pokemon master.

History: Jake was raised in a rich family. he always loved pokemon and his dad used to be a pokemon trainer. Jake wanted to follow in his footsteps. When he turned 12 his parents said he could go on a journey

Name: Cara Smith

Nickname: If someone wants to call her something then go ahead.

Age: 10

Appearance: She is 120 cm tall has brown hair and blue eyes. She wears a blue-white-ish skirt-shorts (not sure what to call it) and a white T-shirt with a heart mark on it. She wears sneakers and a hat similar to Lyra,s but mor pink-blue-ish. She has a Pikachu shaped bag for her supplies.

Personality: Very cheerful she likes to meet new pokémon but can be wary of new people. She is very childish and is easily side-tracked.

History: She lives with her divorced mother and rarely meets her brother who she likes a lot. One day when she and her brother Kairo meet ha gave her her Oddish as she was very fond of his. She decided to us this Oddish as her starter at that time.

Gender: Female

Appearance: Raine is just about average height for her age and has a fair complexion. She has bright auburn hair and light crystal blue eyes. Raine is rather curvy for her age, but doesn't yet have any womanly features, and perhaps will never get them.

Raine normally sports a pair of faded, dark jeans and a sleevless, sky blue top. Over that, she wears a navy sweatshirt jacket and prefers no headwear. Raine wears black, fingerless gloves on each hand as well as pink converse.

Personality: Raine can't stand people who "pity the blind girl." She is very independent and likes to do things herself. Although Raine has a short temper, she is normally calm and makes friends fairly easily. Raine enjoys joking around, which is a good thing at times, but she definitely has a hard time taking things seriously. She is outward, down-to-earth, and loves cheering people up.

Raine is a bit of a nervous person. She is scared to be alone, due to the fact that she can't see, she likes to have someone to guide her, but not do stuff for her. She also has a huge phobia of bug Pokemon. Despite this, she tries to be brave, and isn't afraid to take risks.

History: Most unfortunately, Raine was born blind. This was not a pediment in her studies however, as she was an excellent student, graduating first in her class, as well as making honors. She led a rather quaint, peacful childhood, living with her single mother and sister in a small two-story cottage in New Bark Town. Raine always wanted to get out and see the world, but her mother was way too overprotective, hardly letting the girl step outside the door without her. Raine would always watch, or rather, listen to, Pokemon battles on the television. Battle strategies and mechanics intrigued and interested her, and it was from then on that her mindset was becoming a Pokemon trainer.

Professor Elm had been close to Raine's family, mostly because her father happened to be a lab assistant. When he agreed to give Raine a Pokemon, her mother finally gave in to letting her go on a journey. She has always loved exploring from a small age, and hopes to find new expiriences upon her journey. Raine's major goal is to make new friends and become a champion.

Name: Savannah Juliana Lerran

Nickname: Savvy

Age: 15

Appearance: Savvy is described by some to be quite beautiful. When people first glance at Savvy, the first thing noticed about her is her electric blue eyes. They appear to peer into a person soul and unearth the secrets and lies that people would most likely want to keep hidden. Her skin is tanned and she easily hides the bruises and scars that lace her arms and legs. She has jet black hair that many think is dyed. Her hair falls to her elbows in soft waves. She has bangs that fall into her eyes, covering a particularly nasty cut on her forehead. She dresses in mainly four colours: black, silver, red and gold. She stands at 5 feet and 5 inches and is a very graceful.

Personality: Savvy is a bitter individual attributed by a lack of a father figure throughout her teenage years. She envies and dislikes anyone who has a “perfect life.” Rage engulfs her and it is very difficult to calm her down. She chooses solitude and only left it to make her mother happy. Despite purposely placing herself in solitary confinement for many years, she holds no resent for social butterflies. She enjoys fighting, but does help in the background, helping injured people. She is skilled in healing, as her father was doctor. There are very few people who she would consider opening up to and earning her complete and unwavering trust is almost impossible.

History: Savannah grew up in Goldenrod City with her parents Julie and Scott. They were a very loving family, and Savannah was a rather happy child. As a Pokemon doctor, Scott spent much of his time with Pokemon, which piqued Savannah's interest in them from a young age, and she spent much of her childhood helping him around his clinic. Sadly, he passed away when Savannah was about nine.

Ever since then, Savannah's been blaming herself for it, though it really isn't her fault. Having never been as close to her mother as her father, their relationship became strained, though they never stopped loving each other.

Profession: Trainer, but she plans on eventually becoming a doctor.

Nickname: Luke

Age: 15

Appearance: About 6'3" and fairly skinny. He has red hair and occasional freckles on his face. He has fair skin, but it is surprisingly dark for a red head. He also has a small scar on his left cheek. He usually wears jeans: not too baggy, not too skinny. He also usually has on a T-shirt or a hoodie, usually navy blue or maroon. And he wears tennis shoes almost always.

Personality: Extremely nice to strangers and people recently met; however, he tends to be quite annoying to those he's known for a while. He's quiet and a little shy, but isn't afraid of taking on a challenger. He seems pretty awkward, both in looks and in conversation; sometimes, he sometimes does the latter on purpose. He's pretty smart, yet he doesn't always think about his actions. When in a pokemon battle, he tends to act on strategy rather than instinct.

History: Lucas pretty much just grew up in Asalea Town his whole life with his upper-middle class family. He had a pretty boring life, living with nobody around his age besides his girlfriend, Maddison.

Personality
Somewhat Shy, only opening up to his close friends. His closest friend is his Ralts who will never leave his side, and has been his only fiend throughout his new life in the Johto region.

History
Born in Petalburg City and by age 5 became good friends with a wild Ralts, at age 7 his family moved to Azalea Town in the Johto Region, but when they arrived at there new house they found that a certain little pokemon hid inside their moving truck. His parents allowed him to keep it, but now, 7 years later, fascinated by the "strange" pokemon around his new home he wants to go on his own pokemon journey.
