Pokemon new region ?

Will be there a new Pokemon region ? For now there are 4 of them.Kanto, Jhoto, Hoenn and Sinoh, but will be there another one ? (and another girl :P)
 
Of course, once the next set of games come along.
 
Hopefully Ash's adventure finally draws to a close though. I want the 5th gen to be a clean slate.
 
^idk that will happen. As I have said before, the show is about Ash quest to become a pokemon master, and last time I checked, that has not happened. And would they really end a character that people like? I suspect many kids of today lik Ash and have not seen his older adventures and would like to see what hes up to next and for them, it be too soon to wrap up his adventures. Its a kids show, not designed for us who have followed the show for years remember.
 
Ugh. Please let's not make this thread into another, "Is Ash going to be around for Generation V."

We've had enough of those threads on this forum already.

Look in the latest Japanese episode Ash has six Sinnoh badges with his seventh soon on the way. Let's at least wait until the Sinnoh League and see how that goes before we debate Ash's status on the show.

Generation V is coming. We don't have a single hint of it yet since the anime hasn't shown a single Gen V and likely won't until the 13th movie (which won't be until 2010). So, we know Ash will be on the show for sometime to come so let's stop the Ash staying/leaving talk at least for a while.
 
Okay.I was just asking...I had another question, but lets save it till the 13th season ends :P

Sorry, I hope my comments haven't turned you off.

It's just that the this thread was turning into another "Is Ash going to be around for Generation V", which wasn't your original question, but it seemed from what Scott85 and Shinx3000 wrote that it was gonig to turn into one and that topic has been debated on this forum endlessly as of late it seems.
 
^I never wanted to get into a debate wether or not Ash will be around in future, just started how things have been and are likley to be. I just want to finish D/P and Sinnoh for now. Too much going on at moment with "Lets end the show because we don't like this" or "Get rid of Ash and put someone new in"

When its time for a Gen V, then we can start all these things, but we have not got there yet.

I fully agree with you my fellow Lion Pokémon, but I couldn't help but feel like alot of people of this forum is in a rush to end Sinnoh, get into the Gen II remakes, and get into Gen V.

I don't know why that is. I'm enjoying the current saga and am not in a rush for it to end. I'm a little upset with all the Ash staying/leaving talk as of late that's all.

WE KNOW.

Generation V is guaranteed to exist. Satoshi's role in the anime is guaranteed to continue. It's all been confirmed by people who actually work on the show. There's really no room for debate.
 
I'm not in a rush just wanna know how long it will continue.The 11th season is one of my fave for now so I'm enjoying it as well

Its been said by one person, who is just a storyboard artist, who, at this point, has no idea what could change about the show 2 years from now.

I think people need to stop taking that interview as complete fact. Otherwise you'd really believe the only reason new girls are brought into the anime is eye-candy, lol.

Stop taking everything said there so literally. It was a poorly done interview and WPM didn't even ask the right questions. When you're begging the anime director 4 times to bring Misty back, y'know not to take something seriously.
