Hey there I am steel and I am here to present to you the newest fakedex on these forums. My partner is Empoleon Dynamite but I will probably be on more often. This fakedex will be made by anyone that would like to participate. You can give ideas or drawings of pokemon, or both! If you don't want to do the pokedex entry I would be happy to do them for you. Here are some limitations on what you can do:
1. Starters
2. Any branch evolutions of past starters
3. Legends

Pretty much everything else is ok to draw. I won't except everything only those that are well created. They don't have to be drawn well -pokes my drawings- but the ideas should be there. We can really have as many pokemon as we want but after a while I will cut it off and I am going to write a fanfic. After that I hope to start a roleplay about it.

you can also submit ideas for gyms and gym leaders. They have to be really good though because I have some good ideas for those. I could also use some really good artists and admins to help make decisions when I won't be on for an extended period of time. If you would like to be an admin pm me.

So just go ahead and post your ideas here is my line of bugs for this region...

So is that it for the other starters? (Simburn, Terradactwig, Trunktide) We're just getting rid of them?

Sorry for the criticism but let's hope theyre better than Pewbuck and Mutect, I mean mine (on the other thread) weren't great pieces of art but still...
 
Were your problems with the ideas or the art? I realize I cant draw worth crap and I hope to describe it better when I find the time to do the pokedex entry.
 
Wait, you aren't serious on the Pewbuck thing right? That's the worst fake Pokemon I've ever seen.

But I've developed a strong, almost familial bond with Mutect.

It's like I've known it all my life...
 
I will redo pewbuck but I think it will make more sense later. I really enjoyed Mutect becasue it evolves by reaching level 15 while "holding" a mutant virus.
 
Well i hope im more convinced when i see the pokedex entries, i know you freely admit that you cant draw but as far as ideas go i really cant tell anything from looking at drawings, and i know it's your thread so i'm not gonna argue with you because it's your rules but all i'm gonna say is in my opinion with fakemon being pokemon that aren't ever going to feature in games or feature in the anime really how it looks is more or less everything, the idea is 10-20% if you're very lucky, but like i say it's your thread and if it's idea based that's fine.
Mutant virus item. Quick idea for that, if pewbuck evolves into mutect at level 15 holding mutant virus what's the point? it should just evolve at level 15 unless it evolves into something else when it isn't holding mutant virus. Plus we should let it become a recurring item in the game where maybe 3-4 pokemon can be mutated in evolution.
 
I don't believe that looks are everything in fakemon. It is a branched evolution and hopefully I will have sufficient time later today to do that. Pewbuck is basically mutated which is also the point of the item. And anyone that wants to make a mutant pokemon feel free to. If you have such a problem with the drawings you could redo them yourself.

I realy wanted a grass version of torchic and piplup. Since most grass starters are reptiles it took me a while to think of a suitable bird it could be based on.​

I prefer this one the most. Dont ask me why its claws are green while Tropidactiles are white because i honestly dont know. I couldnt imagine its wings to be developed enough to fly so thats why its a pure grass type.​

Tropidactile is atualy a lot taller and thinner than i've drawn him. I would like to say that he is more of a fighter than a flyer, but Steel and Ice rule had a few problems with that. Just incase your wondering, the leaf around its neck continues down its back.​
