Pokemon past to present

Over Christmas I bought both Pokemon platinum and alpha sapphire. I had played neither before but had played similar games (pearl and emerald). I decided to play both games in tandem, playing first platinum up to the first gym, then switching to alpha sapphire up to the first gym, and so on. On this forum I intend to share my personal experience not only playing these games for the first time but also comparing them side by side.

Feel free to post about your ORAS experience in the ORAS Trainer Travelog thread. Your Platinum experience can similarly be detailed in the Older games Travelog thread.

If you would like to keep the comparison angle going though, it might be more beneficial to write it up as a blog as opposed to a thread though?
