Yes, I know this is the third+ school based RPG, but I think there's a lot of potential, so, I say... Wynaut? (See what I did there? Heh... Let's just get to it)

----

You are an exceptional trainer and have been offered a chance to attend the greatest summer training program on Earth, organized by the legendary Gang of Five, a group of elite trainers who have battled and defeated the Elite Four in the various regions. They and the school are lead by Headmaster Warren, one of the only trainers to have beaten all four Elite Four Champions, conquering all regions.

Because the Pokémon Private Summer Academy, or PPSA, is such a prestigious establishment, only the best of the best young trainers, ages 10 to 18, get invited, and of those few, even fewer will graduate. But, you shouldn't have to worry about that. Your skills in Pokémon battling, breeding and/or coordinating have been more than enough evidence of your determination and excellence. Either that or you just happen to be filthy rich and managed to bribe yourself in with little or no experience whatsoever.

Either way, you now have a shot at one of the greatest honors in the Pokémon world, to have graduated from the Pokémon Private Summer Academy and earn the fabled Midnight Ribbon, Midnight Bow, and Midnight Badge, recognized in the highest authorities in their respective organizations.

You'll be competing against nearly two-hundred trainers who are no less determined and skilled than you are. You must stand out against the rest. However, you won't be doing it alone. You'll be organized into a team of trainers who share your passion. The teams are Team Dawn, Team Noon, Team Dusk, and Team Nightfall. You'll need to learn how to cooperate with your team, learn from your opponents, and grow with your Pokémon if you want to defeat the Gang of Five and earn the coveted Mightnight Set.

PPSA is located on a remote island, owned by Headmaster Warren, and is home to nearly all species of Pokémon, and, if rumor were to be true, several legendaries as well. Will you go hunting for these legendary Pokémon, disregarding the competition? Will you aid your team to victory, ultimately ending up on the doorstep of the Gang of Five? What you do with this amazing opportunity is your choice.

----

In this RPG you can play up to three characters, but you don’t have to. You can choose a team to belong to (Dawn, Noon, Dusk, and Nightfall) or be assigned one, it’s up to you. You can also choose to be a teacher at the academy, whatever subject you wish, as well as a leader of one of the teams.

More information will probably be posted later, but right now I just wanted to get the sign-ups posted.

BIG thanks to Zephy.Changes and Pichu-Pika-Pi for all of their help ;D !

Rules

  • As always, basic RPG rules apply
  • No godmodding
  • I don't have a problem with healthy competition, mostly because this is a more competitive RPG than most, but keep it respectful
  • I'm pretty lenient on language, as long as it's not insulting
  • Use good grammar, spelling, and overall mechanics. It'll just make things go a lot smoother
  • Have fun!

Sounds interesting

name: Zighter Stevens
Gender: Male
age: 16
appearance: Spiky brown hair, that is covered with a white hat. Black sleeveless shirt, gray pants, and a long green coat.
Trainer
pokemon: Blaziken, Lanturn, Metagross, swellow, scizor, lucario
personality: Laid back about life, but excited when it comes to Pokemon. He's always ready to battle and train, but when he's not, he's usually relaxing.
history: Zighter is from the Johto Region. His father was a Pokemon trainer, so it became his dream to one day defeat his father in battle. He's collected 8 badges from Johto, Hoenn, Kanto, and Sinnoh, but has never challenged the elite 4. Something always seemed to call him away. He has acted as the Olivine Gym leader on a few occasions.
Team: dawn

Having thirty two badges might come off as a bit godmoddish... but, what the hell, that's what exeptional would mean, eh? Ha ha ha.

But, by team, I meant whether you're on Team Dawn, Noon, Dusk or Nightfall... So, once you figure that out, you're accepted!

Since I want to get my foot in the door on this one, even though I may not post much...

Name: Charles Samuel Walker, aka Chase

Gender: male

Age: 18

Appearance: Chase has shaggy, dirty blonde hair, longish by boy standards, and dark blue eyes, just like his sister. His skin is tanned, also the same as hers. He is 5'7" and has one pierced ear, his left, with a gold sun earring with a ruby in the middle of it that was put in when he was a baby. He wears sandals, blue jeans, and a light blue polo shirt with a red ankh insignia.

Trainer/Coordinator/Breeder: Trainer, usually does double battles with his sister; breeder

Pokémon: Gallade, Poliwrath, Electivire, Charizard, Heracross, Weavile

Personality: Though the younger of the two twins, Chase is extremely protective of his sister Cadence. He's got a bit of a temper, but generally he is cheerful and friendly, and passionate about what he believes in. At times, he can be mistrustful, and he usually has very accurate first impressions of people. He is a bit of a klutz at times, but absolutely dedicated to Cadence and his pokemon. His battle strategy relies mainly on 'hit-and-run' tactics, with high-powered offence and not much concentration on defense. His favorite types are Fire, Fighting, Bug, and Steel, and he often tag-teams with Cadence for battles, though he is more than capable of battling on his own.

History: Shared with his sister (see below)

Team: ...surprise me, PB ;-)

----------

Name: Cadence Maria Walker, aka Cadi

Gender: female

Age: 18

Appearance: Cadence has long, dirty blonde hair which she usually keeps tied back in a ponytail, and the same blue eyes and tanned skin as her brother. She stands at 5' 6 1/2", just slightly shorter than Chase, and is often mistaken for a long-haired boy at first glance. She wears a brown shirt, jeans, and a pair of black shoes. Her ears are also pierced, though unlike Chase, she had both ears pierced as a baby instead of just one. In her left ear, she wears a Murkrow feather hanging from a sapphire-like jewel; in her right, she wears an emerald stud.

Trainer/Coordinator/Breeder: Trainer, often tag-teams with her brother Chase; has dabbled in contests

Pokémon: Dragonite, Swampert, Ludicolo, Metagross, Umbreon, Steelix

Personality: Cadence is the calmer half of the duo, often the voice of rational thought when Chase's temper gets out of hand. She's extremely logical and methodical, and this has led her to be an excellent strategist in battles. Her style is to boost her team's defense, then hammer away at her opponent with super-effective moves. This makes her a slightly more efficient battler on her own than Chase, who is constantly trying to match her. However, her social skills leave a bit to be desired.

History: Chase and Cadence were born in Canalave City, where their father was a sailor. They were very close throughout their childhood, so when their parents split up when they were about six, their mother taking Cadence to her hometown of Snowpoint City, they were devastated. Chase stayed behind with his father in Canalave, who often took his son out on his boat when he got a little older in an effort to distract him from the sister he knew he missed. The twins finally and joyfully reunited in Sandgem Town on their tenth birthday, and have been traveling together ever since. The separation caused Chase to become very overprotective of Cadence, sometimes to her annoyance; he has promised himself that he will never let anyone take her away from him again. They have each won all the badges of Sinnoh, Johto, and Kanto, though due to circumstances beyond their control, they have not yet been able to travel to Hoenn. However, they have both competed in the Leagues of the regions they have traveled to. Each time, Cadence has advanced a little further than Chase, and both have always made it into the top ten, but neither have ever won a League Championship.

Team: Again, surprise me

I haven't seen hide nor hair of those two since the good ol' RPG days.
------
Name: Travis Chorcino

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Appearance:
(Physical): Deep brown hair; 5'11"; hazel eyes; lightly tanned; 120 lbs; medium build

(Clothing): Silver Nike's; jeans; short-sleeves red shirt with silver stripes on his sides and arms; black flak jacket; grey hand guards; blue bandanna.

Trainer/Coordinator/Breeder: Trainer and Breeder

Pokémon:
Inferni - Female Infernape
Tsukuyomi - Male Shiny Ninetales
Susanoo - Male Shiftry
Amaterasu - Female Houndoom
Sophie - Female Shiny Gardevoir
Hydron - Male Gyarados

Personality: Cool-headed, but very violent when angry. A bit calm. He's extremely foolish and insane. Serious if situation calls fot it. Wise in the way of Pokemon biology and close combat. Protective of those he calls a comrade or friend. Very practical minded. Down to earth. Switches from benevolent to belligerent and back. Can be blunt at times. Humble. Ambitious. Helpful. A little cautious towards people he hasn't met.

History: Travis was born in Twinleaf Town. He was born into a family with a father being the leading professor in Pokemon biology and his mother a tomboyish Trainer. For some very odd reason, he started going into practicing various kinds of martial arts. He even studied how to wield a sword. More specificily, the katana. What was the reason? He said this during an interview - "I don't want to be too relient on my Pokemon doing everything for me, you know? To me, that's a sign of laziness. Pokemon die more than humans, you know. Seeing a connection here?"

When he was ten, he won the Sinnoh League championship, making him the youngest rookie to win a series. Then, he went to Hoenn and won the League Championship at age 12, making him the first to win a consecutive regional league. He didn't stop there, as he journeyed to Johto at age 14 for the Silver Conference, then the Indigo Plateau at age 16. Not once did he fought a Elite Four member or the Regional Elite 4 Champion. After his victory in Kanto, he became the first Four Regional League Champion.

Travis's strategy is simple - seek and destroy with ingenuity and knowledge backing him up.

An extra note - Travis hates the popperazi and fangirls/boys with a passion. More often than not, he would get caught when he's out. Due to this, he has a sense of humility, as he knew fame would get you in trouble faster than it could help you.

He's also dabbles in magic tricks, illusionry, and pulling off the impossible.

Team: I think I'll do Noon.

Name: Clark Wenworth
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Appearance: Clark has a slender almost feminine looking body and powdered cocoa skin. His lunar white hair makes him east to spot in any crowd. Clark has big, chocolate brown, puppy dog eyes and lips that look lip glossed. He usually wears a light blue and yellow tie and a tight white button up shirt with "Noon" embroidered in small letters over the pocket. Mr. Wentworth's pants are faded black and rather tight. When he is going out he usually throws on a black blazer with "Noon" embroidered subtly on the collar. His shoes are simple, usually leather ones. He has quite an intimidating, proffesional look about him.
Subject: Music
Trainer/Coordinator/Breeder: Trainer through and through
Pokémon: Articuno, Dewgong, Swinub and Weavile
Personality: Clark Wentworth is very flirtatious. You know that guy who was always looking for "true love"? He's become your creepy teacher. Mr. Wenworth is very sharp with his students and frankly scares quite a few of them. He can come off as cruel but he very much wants his students to succeed. There is a clear line between who he likes and doesn't-the ones he likes receive heart shaped boxes of chocolate and often unwelcome flirtation and those he doesn't receive nothing but difficult homework. Mr. Wentworth mocks and courts his students but somehow is never fired.
History: There's a reason Clark Wenworth often seems as though he has just blown into town or fallen to Earth. As a child he moved 14 times before he was 10 and shipped off to the PPSA. He left at 16 and started training his Pokémon day and night. He later returned to the PPSA as a teacher to lead a quieter life.

Appearence: Teddi doesn't look like his age, he wears a cute little blue scool uniform with a bow tie, he has big, blue puppy dog eyes. Teddi is 5'4 in heigt and is blonde. He looks like a little seven year year old.

Trainer/Coordinator/Breeder: Trainer and Coordinator

Pokemon: Phione, Teddiursa, Rotom, (Shiny)Pichu, Dragonite, and Aggron

Personality: He act very young for his age, he is sweet and innocent as if he was a seven year old. But when he gets mad...look out.

History: He is a master of martial arts, even though he never fights. He has collected 7 badges from all reigons and has collected 3 ribbons from all reigons as well. He is well known for his 'cute charm' technique. He has been to PDSA for one year already and he loved it, so he wants to go there again. Many people know him as Teddi. He hangs around with his favorite pokemon Pichu. He always keeps a happy face in even the worst of times, the only time he is sad if his friends are hurt, or if they scold him.

Pokemon: Ampharos, Noctowl, Empoleon, Magmar, Tangrowth, Gallade

Team: I had Digimon Dawn and I liked it so I'll take Team Dawn

DH, I haven't been in an RP where you could use more than one character since then. ;-) Always the inseparable pair.

So, what'cha think, PB?

Wow, I'm always the youngest character in all the RPs I have been in. Anyway, PB how many class periods are there?

Wow... great turn out... A lot better than I expected ;D Especially this early on...

advancedgamer14: Thanks for doing that (and thanks XD You're the first to say that) Accepted!

Edo-kun and Pichu-Pika Pi: You both have more than one "pseudo". I know I didn't put any rules in place about that, but I'm sure you guys can keep 'em under control?

Edo-kun: Otherwise, awesome. Glad to see Cadi and Chase back. Accepted!

Devil_Hunter_3000: Wow... way to many accomplishments there. I'm gonna let the league-related ones slide, but if it's not too much trouble, the Team Rocket and Team Galactic ones have to go. I hate to be the hard-ass about this, but I think that's a little too over the top. Thanks. Otherwise, accepted!

Zephy.Changes: Wow, awesome profile. Accepted!

Pichu-Pika-Pi: Other than the thing with the pseudos, I forgot to mention that only teachers can have legendary Pokemon unless you actually catch them in the RPG, but seeing as how Rotom isn't considered legendary, and Phione isn't that strong, I'm gonna let it slide... Accepted!

Destined Hero: Nice team... Accepted!

Wow... amost everyone went Dawn on this one... I might have to make a few characters to balance it out...

Well, we should get started around Saturday, so if there's any questions or concers before then, PM me or post here!

Hm... Class periods... I'll get more information on all of that probably later today... but I'm guessing about six a day.

I should be able to keep Cadi's pokemon under control. Worst case scenario, I'll give one of them to Chase, so that they each only have one.

Oh, and I made a slight change to Chase's team -- switched out his Scizor for a Heracross. Not really a bad change, I hope.

Nah, I trust you, E-kun ;D Your teams are fine, so you don't have to switch if you don't want to.

And nope, that change is fine with me.

Name: Fred Ryolo
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Appearance: Long red hair, slightly tanned skin, black eyes, white shirt, and green shorts with simple sneakers and ankle socks.
Trainer/Coordinator/Breeder (Select up to two unless otherwise requested): Trainer
Pokémon (up to 6): Swampert, Garchomp, Glalie, Haunter, Aerodactyl, and Electabuzz.
Personality: He likes to stay out of big crowds and spend time alone, occasionally training his Pokemon in his time, doesn't like to be disturbed. He doesn't like talking to others much, unless showing the same interest.
History: Once he received his Mudkip from Prof. Birch, he set out on a journey in Hoenn after leaving his home of Lilycove, he eventually caught his Pokemon in said team and raising them to become a strong team. He began taking on Gym Leaders to obtain badges to become a great trainer.
Team (Dawn, Noon, Dust, or Nightfall): Nightfall.

Finally, someone who's in Team Nighftall. Accepted! Welcome.

I find Nightfall FTW, since I like nighttime.
