I was going to do a PRP with Oerba and Jester, but it seems that Oerba has become busy so I'm gonna try leading this RP. open to changes.

Generations

“When time is defined by who, what, and where is important that is a generation. When time is defined by who we are, what we do, and where we go is what it means to be part of a generation.” - Kanto/Johto Champion Drake.

It seemed the whole world stopped that fateful day. All the stores closed, schools let out early, and people left work before their shifts ended. Even the wind stopped, the sun hid, and the pokemon were silent. The news spread quickly, and soon everyone was huddled around TVs, radios, and poke’gear in complete awe at the moment.

The pokemon master, the greatest trainer who ever lived, was now lying on his death bed. His family and closest friends surrounded him in his last few hours. People of all regions watched as he said his last words.

“I have spent my life readying for this moment. I spent every hour of every day working hard and pushing myself to reach my goals. All you young trainers out there. You have the power to be great. This generation may start with the end of me, but this generation also starts with the beginning of you. Now my time has come, and I will leave you with these simple parting words. Gotta catch’um all.” The pokemon master calmly said then breathed his last.

Millions wept at the loss of such a great hero, but many more took it in stride and decided that it was time to step up. It was their time to reach for the dreams that had eluded them. It was their time. It is your time.

You are one of the many trainers who have recently experienced the loss of the pokemon master. You have to decided what to do next. It is your turn to change your life, and make it what you want.

Here in the Kanto region your new journey begins. The pokemon league has expanded its challenge to find some one worthy of becoming the pokemon master. Trainers must now challenge all eight gyms, elite fours, and champion from every region to join the legendary league. The legendary league will then decide who deserves to be the pokemon master.

(basically you are a trainer in Kanto who is trying to get into the legendary league. The RP starts in Kanto, but will move to the other regions if it is successful.)

I sent out a couple invites so I'm especially waiting for them. but yeah you can join in.

you have any experience? just curious. I usually know alot of the people who join my RPs, but I don't know that we've met. in PRPs I expect a lot more content then normal RPs.

I've been in several Rpg's, A few with you i think (Just can't remember which ones.) I was most likely under the guise of memond, Black Butler, M Rose, or Kanade. I have horrible luck because it seems if i go a day without RP'ing. The RPG dies. im trying to get better at notifying people about long absences.

hmm... well one issue is PRPs are usually two or three RPers doing alot of content and making a big long RP. Axl you don't seem to have much experience here so I want to know how long you've RPed for.

alright, I will try to post as often as i can. If you chose not to accept i will understand okay.

Well, it depends. While I actually haven't been a member here long, I have had RP experience on a couple other sites such as Serebii and FanFiction. I'd say, its been about a year. Yeah, two months 'till April, so about a year.

yes, well the crux of the situation is current;y more so about the invites I put out. I don't want this filling up before they get here lol.

M'kay. Don't worry, I know the feeling ^.^'. Just let me know when you get the replies.

Alrighty then. My last post. Maybe another time.

well don't think I'm saying you gusy can't join I'm jsut saying it will be tight, and I'll drop anyone who gets lazy much faster.

Well then before you do accept me, here's this. I do have a couple other active RPs I'm still apart of and I'm still in school, so while I will be active, I will be slow on the weekdays and probably won't be on on Thursdays.

Name: Olivia (Goes by Olive) Crown
Age: 16
Appearance: Olive has an average figure, standing at just over 5 feet 6 inches and weighing at about 110 pounds. She has reddish-brown ringlet hair that falls just below her shoulders. She has straight, bright white teeth and a peach colored tan. She has subtle yet bright blue colored eyes. She has near flawless skin and only wears enough makeup to look presentable (In other words, she doesn’t cake it on).

As for her clothing, Olive prefers what’s both in style and comfortable. She wears a black cardigan with a white, sleeveless shirt underneath it. She wears black jeggings that have thin gold streaks running up the side. She wears violet and gold, leather hi tops. She has dual, bracelet like contraptions that can hold 3 pokeballs each, rather than a belt.

Background: In summary, Olive had a fairly easy going childhood. She was adopted from an orphanage (her mother died during childbirth and her father was no where to be seen) into a young couple. Since the couple couldn’t have children together, they raised Olive like their own, though they always kept the adoption information open to Olive. Despite what many would do in that situation, Olive never got angered by her adoption, as it was always known. She loved her adopted parents just as much as she would have if they were her real parents. Her parents were semi-rich as well, so Olive grew up in a large home with many toys and an easy going live in general. She attended the standard schooling, as well as battling courses after school with her only pokemon, Knives (explained later). Because of this, Olive shares an incredibly close bond to Knives, which makes their battling technique even stronger.

Around the age of 13, Olive and her parents decided to travel the region as a group. Olive gained a knowledge of the region and its culture, as well as important battling experience. She was separated from her parents for several days in Viridian Forest, though she was soon found. Because of her experience in the forest, she is terrified of bug pokemon. None the less, the journey was successful and Olive learned life-long lessons about travelling.

Current day, Olive has recently left her home to go on a journey throughout the region, though this time, it is to be alone. She wants to hopefully retake Drake’s position, though she knows that this must be a difficult feat to accomplish. However, she feels that with enough willpower and strength, she and Knives can make it to the top and beyond.

Personality: Olive is a very calm and collected person. She rarely fights with other people unless it impacts her greatly. She is curious and particularly naive, which shows that she is still very much like a child. She has many quirks, to say the least, though none of them dominate her personality. She is also adventurous, ready to try anything and everything in an instant. She views pokemon more as friends than as battling tools, though she knows that there must be a balance in the pokemon world for there to be order. She learns to trust people extremely quickly, and she thinks that she is trustworthy as well. Olive generally forgives when apologized to, though she could hold a grudge forever, if she wanted to. However, this almost never happens, as she only gets mad at someone when it is under unique and uncommon circumstances.

Fatal Flaw: She believes almost everything. If you tell her that you're her birth mother, you are her birth mother, according to Olive. No need to present truthful facts, just as long as you're convincing enough to not make yourself a total fool in front of her, Olive will believe it.

Reason for doing the league challenge: So that she can learn her world and hopefully make it a better place. She wants to learn how to utilize pokemon better, how to perfect her strengths and diminish her weaknesses, but most importantly, what she can do to make the world a better place. She hopes to replace Lance so that she can accomplish all these goals, as well as be truly recognized for the person she is.

Pokemon

Species: Teddiursa
Name: Knives
Gender: Female
Level: 7
Moves: Metal Claw, Fake Tears, Scratch, Covet, Lick, Leer

Background: Knives too had been orphaned as a young Teddiursa in the forest outside of Olive’s town, as she was accidentally left behind by the pack of Ursarings. She had been surviving on her own in the forest by stealing food from Olive and her family, as well as some of the other town members. One day, when Olive was playing outside, Knives came out of the forest to steal some more food from their house. Once she saw Olive, Knives became hostile. She started mauling Olive, though it didn’t hurt her in the slightest. Knives had been weakened by the forest, so her tackles felt not much harder than a light punch. Moments later, Knives fainted from exhaustion. Olive took Knives in and nursed her back to health. When Knives was finally strong enough to reenter the forest, she chose to stay with Olive and become a part of the family.

Personality: Unlike her trainer, Knives is a very fiery pokemon. She often gets into quarrels with other pokemon and likes to assert her self-implied dominance. Despite her small size and cute appearance, Knives acts like she is the biggest, toughest pokemon around, which gets her into trouble regularly. She never backs down, no matter what the odds. Because of this, Knives is also very stubborn, yet a ferocious battler. She doesn’t trust other pokemon until they prove their ‘worth’ to her, which is usually by defeating her in a battle or by another physical feat.

Appearance: Knives has regular Teddiursa colored fur for most of her body, as well as the lighter colored patch on her stomach and the moon on her head. However, she has black fur on the edges of her body (her hands, feet, and ears) that seems to fade between the two colors. Because of this, Knives has a slightly more sinister appearance.

Species: Houndoor
Name: Leo
Level: 7
Moves: Leer, Ember, Howl, Roar (leveled up in Gen II at level 7), Dark Pulse

Background: Leo and Olive first encountered each other along her trip through the region. Leo had been the leader of a group of bandit pokemon, much like the Squirtle Squad in the anime. Leo wasn't a very good leader, as his only way of staying in control was by scaring off the challengers by using his physical fire abilities (explained later). However, when Olive and her family came across the bandits, the entire group of bandit pokemon attacked. Since Olive's parents had trained their pokemon, they easily took out the rest of the bandit group. However, since Olive had had little battling experience, they left Leo for her to capture. Olive did, and Leo even was relieved of this, since he found a way out of the bandit group. He has been a valued member of the Crown family ever since.

Personality: Leo has a very loving personality, despite his scary appearance. He often is seen cuddling with Olive, as well as any people he deems worthy. Leo doesn't trust others very quickly, which keeps Olive in check, as she trusts others almost instantly. Leo is also very protective and will fight in a battle until he can't fight anymore, as long as he is protecting his friends. Because of this, Leo is a very ferocious battler in general.

Appearance: The four circlet things around Leo's ankles can set themselves on fire on command. Leo typically does this during his battles to scare off his opponents, as well as when he is trying to impress others. It doesn't hurt him, as it is produced from his own body. Eventually, this will be applicable to his horns when he is a Houndoom.
