Pokemon Ranger 2 - what effect will it have on the anime?

Pokemon Ranger 2 comes out March 20th in Japan, so do you think a few of the March episode titles will advertise the new game?

The first Pokemon Ranger came out while we were in Battle Frontier, and Solana, the main female ranger, appeared in two seperate episodes that saga. She was first debuted in an episode with Celebi, and then re-appeared about 15 eps later during a 1-hour Deoxys episode. We also had Jackie in Movie 9.

So what influence do you think Ranger 2 will have on the anime? Can we expect the male or female ranger (haha, who am I kidding, of course they'll pick the female ranger over the guy to appear in the show), to make an appearance for a few episodes in March?

It looks like it'll take all of February for the gang to get out of Veilstone, so I expect most of the late March titles to be advertising Ranger 2. What do you think?
 
While this may be unrelated, Heatran is coming out in DP5 (which comes out in March), so maybe like with the Deoxys special, we'll have a Heatran special? :p
 
I was actually just about to suggest that myself, WPM. There have been Heatran plushies revealed for March-time, and new plushies generally come out at about the same time as the new Pokemon debut in the anime. Add that in with your note about Heatran's card appearance, and I can see it happening.
 
Would it be too much to say we could see Max becoming a ranger? I mean the game is focused in a school environment ad Max is young. Just a possibility.

Also, I meant to say in my first post that Heatran will be FEATURED in the set. My first post made it sound like it was just one random card from the set. DP5 features Regigigas and Heatran.

Unlikely. We probably won't ever see Max again in the anime at this rate. If Fabuvinny still posted regularly he'd probably write a whole essay about this, but other than him, I doubt the writers would ever bother to bring him up.

Personally I'd love to see Jack acting as mentor to Hajime or whatever his real name is. Jack Walker in a tutoring role would be hilarious (plus Jack showing up in the series would make Movie 9 canon).

Possible, though if Max is at school anywhere, I'd start looking in Rustboro....
 
It's not the banpresto plush toys you should be looking out for. That site only updates once in a blue moon. It's the PVC Monster Collection figurines that have been indicating when pokémon are going to show up.
 
If it's the one I think you're talking about it used to update every week, but stopped with the Luxray episode. Don't have the link cause it's on my other computer, though.
 
All I can think of is fanservice. *sighs, covers face with hands* The pressure is killing me..
