I wasnt really sure where to put this and was VERY unsure on whethere there was already a thread like this if there is, I'm really sorry.

Anyhow, If you do get this game which Pokemon do you think you'll choose as your starter?

I think I'll pick Kricketot, only because I love bug types, but it is also very cute. :D
If they evolve, I'll probably pick Snover or Mime Jr. Though I doubt they will because it'd be difficult for a Snorlax to follow you around everywhere. >>
 
Humm... I think either Gible,Pachi,or Mime Jr. I've gotten pretty fond of the Gible line after raising the offspring of my two Japanese Garchomp, and I think their all pretty cool.And Pachi and Mime are adorable. If they can evolve and I pick Mime, I wont let it because I think Mr.Mime is ugly >_<.

Off topic: Any word on the female players name yet?

It will have to depend on what their assist does for me. The fact that they even have 17 starter types suggests that they are introducing some new assists that weren't in the previous one, those being Normal, Steel, and Dragon. (Munchlax, Shieldon, and Gabite, respectively) All the others have had an assist associated to their type, but the Electric one makes me wonder if they will have it Discharge or restore the styler's power. Given what the known assists do, I wouldn't be too opposed to having Pachi, whether it discharges or restores power. Then again, their assists may operate differently from what is known. The partner guage is still there, but we've only seen it used for Discharge. There's no telling what it does under the influence of other types.

Hmm, as sceptile says, it depends on the assist, among other things for me. But im very tempted by the terrain possibilities of turtwig. and i like sneasel mime Jr and Gible. And munchlax. And hippowdon. And.....oh dammit Nevermind........
 
Mime Jr. or Kricketot for me. Probably going to pick Kricketot on my first playthrough though...

Need more details on what they can do though D:
 
I would so pick Chimchar, just because I love them, followed by gible, because i just like dragon types.

Man, why'd they have to put machop in? If your starter won't evolve, then they could of put in Riolu instead, but then again, if they do evolve, then a riolu might (and most probably would) clash with game, seeing how a lucario will most likely appear since it's on the cover, in which case nevermind.
 
Misdreavus because of the known Ghost-Type assist being so useful, Sneasel because its awesome, Gible because dragon assist could be very useful, Hippopotas because I love the little roly-poly things, and Croagunk because Croagunk rules.

I'm so undecided!
 
Man, I can't wait for this game to be releasd here. Playing my old rangers game kinda gets boring after awhile (Espeicaily when you've played through it about a hundred times like me)

I can't wait to meet the new boss and get a Gible. (I've decided on Gible from my last post) But yah know, it won't be the same without a base idiot like Murph. Or Prof.Hastings. Or Aria. Or Cris. Or-darn. You know what? Forget about it.
