"Pokemon Ranger! Deoxys Crisis!!" airs on Cartoon Network October 28th

Didn't September pass? J/k simple error. This is cool! I heard the special was good.

The dub titles are pretty lame, compared to the last episodes.

Deoxys Crisis is keeping its Japanese name? Now that's a surprise. I liked the first Solana episode, so I'm sure looking forward to this.

Which Mastermind of Mirage Pokémon is airing after Deoxys Crisis? Is it the original one or the redubbed one packaged with Lucario and the Mystery of Mew?

This explains why we've been tearing through BF... to get Sceptile. Or that may be why. Does Sceptile use any moves in Deoxys Crisis? If so, my theory fails.
 
You'd better believe it does. It freakin' battles Deoxys! It was probably its best display of badass-ness ever. :-D

I'm fairly certain it will be the redubbed. Most likely PUSA does not want the original to ever air again, because the voices were really lackluster, that's my guess at least.

I'm glad their doing this though =). I have yet to see the redubbed, so this will be a very Poke-centric day!

But, why doesn't CN rename itself "Pokemon Network" (PN) ? I'm seeing more airings of Pokemon than say "Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends".

I'm just saying, their treating it with the respect it deserves, and then some. Which makes this viewer very happy ^-^
 
Wow, they're already to the charming Nurse Spenser? The saga really does fly along.

Pokemon really is airing a lot. I wish Sailor Moon had been given that much attention when it was being aired.

"Spontaneous Combusken!" has to be one of the best dub titles ever made! That is one of the greatest puns yet! :lol:

Interesting how they changed the schedule of the anime to air Deoxys to coincide with the release of the game 2 days later. Perhaps they will do the same thing with Diamond and Pearl.

Also, this would be only the second title to keep the Japanese title intact. As far as I can remember... Only other title I can think of that is the same is 'Pokemon! I choose you!' but that was translated. This title is identical in both languages, which I think is a first.
 
Most og the first twenty episodes of the Kanto seires managed to keep pretty uch the same titles as the Jpanese ones when dubbed
Any idea when these will make it to the UK?
 
One awesome pun and I can't think of a word to describe the second title. It sounds like it should be a Gary episode.

Which Wurmple is Which? As well as some early Kanto episodes.
 
And, don't forget first movie's title Mewtwo Strikes Back;-)
 
If PUSA is considering this two-part episode as a TV Special, then that means that a) it will most likely keep all its Japanese music, and b) Season 9 will end with DP 007, not DP 005.

I guess the question is then will it see a seperate DVD release from the rest of the Battle Frontier season?
 
What an interesting twist. I don't know why they're giving it now though. Considering that the Deoxys special is part of the series. 10 episodes away from the episodes that are airing on the 28th to be exact...
