The website is full of useful info, like apparantly the top ranger and area ranger seem to have different capture stylers.

Also I'm capturing the Pokemon :3

They've also reveiled the Leader of Vien Town as Barlow, but is telling me to wait until November 11 to see the rest ;-; (also has a pic of Hajime being called Kellyn)

Also when they say this mission will only be available through January 31 2009 what do they mean? The Japanese manaphy mission is apparantly always available.

It means they're being prejudiced against those who don't buy quickly. More than likely trying to increase initial sales. It also more than likely means we're not getting Darkrai - instead we'll either have to rely on that ridiculous tweaking method that takes luck and a few hours to complete, or $300 in travel expenses. Of course, I'm just basing that off past experience, and the Manaphy is obtainable from the first one without an event, and the Riolu is only practical competitively in Baby Cup esque battles. I don't really get why they don't just make it always available - or just put it into the game in the first place. It's not like it's killing their sales.

I don't like the Ranger series too much (then again, I don't like the spin-offs in general), but it's tolerable enough to play through for the Pokemon you get for doing so. Certainly one of the better spin-offs.

They'll probably reserve Darkrai for a later date. After all, it was a criteria for one to be a Rank 10 ranger in the Japanese version to obtain that event (the riolu one too I believe)

Apparently there's a character called Luana, but I'm not sure if it's the female protagonist or another character right now.

How'd I miss that name, I was looking through the site thoroughly. The game screenshots did say Kellyn, and I saw another pic with that name used.

EDIT: I saw the screenshot. Hitomi doesn't look like she's there and another female ranger is the only one staring at Barlow while talking so I doubt it.
