Legend has it that long ago, even before it was filled with snow, Almia Castle was ruled by a king with three sons. The king wanted peace for Almia but his vigorous sons changed all this. He banished all three of his sons. One in red went to a volcano. One in yellow went to a desert. The youngest prince, one in blue, was allowed to stay. Over the years, the king felt guilty over his decision. Eventually, this caused darkness to consume him, forming the Shadow Crystal.
The Tears of Princes are a set of gems formed by the sons. When all three gems are placed near the Shadow Crystal, they neutralize the darkness inside it, turning it into the Luminous Crystal instead.
The Ranger Union has succeeded in acquiring the three Gems – also known as the Tears of Princes. These Gems will allow the Rangers to eliminate the mass Pokémon brainwashing wreaking havoc across Almia.
Due to this, the Sinis Trio plans to attempt to secure the gems to prevent the power of the Shadow Crystal from being weakened.
It is now up to the Ranger Union to determine who is a threat, and who is pretending to help the Union so they can steal the Gems to use for their nefarious schemes.

~DO NOT SHARE ROLE PMs. No screenshots, copy/pastes, or anything. You may roleclaim (i.e., “I’m the cop, doctor, roleblocker”) but you may not tell anyone which character you are (“I’m Kellyn” is not okay; “I’m the cop” IS okay). This includes EVERYONE, including Dim Sun members.
~DO NOT SEND FAKE PMs. I will be forced to modkill you.
~PLEASE don’t sign up if you’re not going to play. Games can be less fun when multiple people are inactive. Use your abilities; that’s what you have them for!
~NO informative-style posting after death. You may have ONE posthumous post, but do not say “I was the cop, and Players A and B were mafia.” That ruins it for everyone and I’ll not be terribly happy. (“Ah, bummer. Should have seen that coming” or “DOCTOR WHERE WERE YOU ;_;” is an acceptable post.)
~Please send me a copy of all PMs, additional QTs you may create, or Skype/AIM convos pertaining to the game (though if you do the latter, kindly cut out anything not pertinent to the game, or I’ll get annoyed having to read through it).
~If you change your name, please let me know via PM/VM or by mentioning me @Hitomi; in the thread. Otherwise, mentions won’t work and I’ll get confused as heck.
~When voting, please bold your response. Vote/Unvote: Player It makes it easier for me to find them when scrolling through the thread. You can vote “No lynch” but in the case of a tie between lynching and a no lynch, lynching will win.
~ UPDATES: The phase change will occur between 11pm-midnight EST (GMT -5). If there’s any change, I’ll let you know. If I can’t come in to update for whatever reason, I will also let you know.

There will be two primary factions: The Union and Team Dim Sun, with potential independents. The Union’s goal is to lynch all Dim Sun members while Dim Sun must simply outnumber the Union. In certain scenarios, even tying may allow a Dim Sun victory.
Voting will take place during the Day Phase. During the Night Phase, Dim Sun may attempt a nightkill.
UPDATES: The phase change will occur between 11pm-midnight EDT (GMT -4).
I will let you know if anything changes regarding the update time. Phases last 24 hours unless specified otherwise.
Just a note; if there is no update after two hours passed since midnight (GMT -4), it will mean I could not come in to update, and in those cases, the phase will be extended. I will try to let you know prior to this happening as much as possible.

THE GEMS:
Another way for Dim Sun to win revolves around an addition to the game: the Red Gem, Yellow Gem, and Blue Gem.. Three Union-oriented players will receive one of these Gems each at random at the start of the game. They will be informed that they have it. Dim Sun may acquire the Gems by nightkilling whoever possesses the Gem at the time. When all three Gems are collected and certain players eliminated, Dim Sun will claim automatic victory. Likewise, if a player with a Gem is lynched by the Union, the Gem will simply be reassigned to another player.
The Union may attempt to reclaim the Gems by successfully lynching Dim Sun members. In this case, the reclaimed Gem will be randomly reassigned to a Union-allied player. If/when there are less than three Dim Sun members to hold the Gems and Dim Sun holds all three Gems but have not completed their kill requirements, one player may have to hold two Gems. In this case, should the Dim Sun member with two Gems be lynched or killed otherwise, the Union will acquire both the held Gems.
Players with the Gems may pass them on to other players if they feel that they are in danger of being killed. Just PM the host with the message “Entrust Gem to: User” and the host will pass along the Gem. Be careful – you may pass it on to a Dim Sun admin.
