Pokemon Ranger: The Revenge of Darkrai

(It's finally here, everyone! Also, sorry about the shortness of my post, I was in a rush.)

It was a stormy night in Almia. Lightning pounded against every place you could guess, and a thick fog was spread across the land. It was especially thick near the Ice Castle, where Darkrai was residing, corrupting Pokemon with nightmares until they obeyed it. And meanwhile, all of the Pokemon Rangers in Almia had gathered in the Ranger School, which had been cleared of all students. All of the Rangers gathered in the main hall by the stage, awaiting orders of what to do...


"Man," a young Ranger named Cole Jacobson said somewhat impaitiently. "When are we going to find out what to do?"

His two Partner Pokemon, an Arcanine and a Lucario, waited behind him, just as anxious for someone to come onstage.

Then, a man did come up. He was the newest leader of the Ranger Union, and began to speak.

"We must defeat Darkrai," the man said, and two Ninetales came up behind him. "It is time to act. We cannot simply stand around and wait for Darkrai to take over the region! Who's with me?"

There were several cheers from areas in the audience, and trumpets sounded.

"No duh," Cole mumbled under his breath. "This meeting is pointless. We could be out fighting Darkrai, but instead we're all stuck here talking."

Suddenly, the roof exploded, and several Dragonite carrying Electrode appeared, dropping the Electrode into the crowd.

"This is what I'm talking about!" Cole yelled, and proceeded to attempt to capture a Dragonite. "Capture on!"

A girl had been playing cards on the floor when the roof exploded. "What the fug?" Moonlight screamed. A pokemon came crashing towards her. " Oh crap..." And it landed on her. " Kirlia... Get... It... OFF OF ME!!!"

Tempest had been sitting on the floor with her legs crossed, her Mantine floating around in circles whilst her Jolteon tried to catch Mantine's tail. Tempest shook her head and giggled. Jolteon and Mantine never got tired of that game.

Suddenly, when their new leader appeared onstage, Tempest leapt to her feet and began to cheer along with the crowd. Mantine and Jolteon stopped playing to cheer as well.

"I wonder what our new leader will lead us to?" Tempest whispered to her partner Pokemon. The two Pokemon giggled, but abruptly stopped when several Electrode were suddenly dropped down by many Dragonite.

"What the-?" Tempest began, but was cut off when a Dragonite landed in front of her.

"Uh...that thing doesn't look too happy." Tempest bit her lip and giggled nervously. Suddenly, as quick as a flash, she whipped out her ranger styler.

"Mantine! Jolteon! Help me out here! Let's capture this Dragonite!" Tempest yelled, her two partner Pokemon by her side as she began to loop her styler around the Dragonite.
 
Finally, thanks to Kirlia, Moonlight was standing up and capturing the draginite that had landed on her. She had a little headache. " YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!!! I WILL CAPTURE YOU!!!!" Moonlight said, her angry side had come alive.
 
CiCi was munching on some snacks, hungry as usual. Asiago and Firenza each sat on one of her shoulders, each munching on a treat that was called a 'poffin' that CiCi had made; having heard about it from her cousin in the Sinnoh region. Like Ranger, like partner Pokemon as they said. Spotting a mirror, she walked over to it and started making faces, laughing at each one. Her ponytailed skunk-stripe hair bounced behind her as she laughed, her swirly eyes shining in glee. Snapping back to attention, she looked up at the stage.

Just as the leader came up onto the stage, CiCi felt a chill in the air; her sixth sense alerting her that something was about to happen. She had learned to trust this sense, after all; she wasn't a Rank 9 ranger for nothing! Rolling to the side, she narrowly avoided being crushed by a Dragonite holding and Electrode, letting out a sigh of relief. All side thoughts gone, CiCi whipped out her styler and began whipping it about in circles, never having been the most graceful. Calling out to Asiago, he nodded and let out a cry, activating his Poke assist.

After a lot of arduous circling, and multiple helps from Firenza and Asiago, CiCi finally managed to subdue the Pokemon; panting heavily. Taking a deep breath, she continued along with her newly aquired Electrode and Dragonite, and thus took on a new opponent; determination shining in her eyes.
 
Zaar wasn't really paying attention to the meeting. He already knew that they needed to capture Darkrai. Unfortunately, the Dragonite interrupted his thoughts, and he immediately brought his Styler out. "Raphael. You know what to do," he said to his Weavile, who nodded and released its power into the Styler, which when Zaar twirled it around the Dragonite, froze it in the air, sending it crashing into the ground. With repeated Poke Assists from Raphael, Zaar managed to capture the Dragonite, his breathing heavy.
 
Moonlight was on a roll she had three Draganite and going for an Elctrode. When suddenly it attacked Skitty. " NO NOT HER!!!" Moonlight screamed, jumping on it. " DON'T MESS WITH MY FRIENDS!!!"
OOC: I know i know not a real pro ranger thing to do
 
OOC: No, THIS is the Pro Ranger thing to do. :D Just after I typed it, I thought it sounded rude... oops...

CiCi heard the shriek and turned in it's direction, wincing at how tired she was starting to get. Turning her attentions towards the girl, she engaged the Electrode instead, using a Dragonites Pokeassist to help her. Growling, she nodded towards the girl, giving her a chance to get her and her Skitty out of harms way. Suddenly spotting a shiny object in the corner of the room, she gasped and almost lost concentration, but was tugged back to reality by Firenze biting her ear. Smiling thankfully at her, she continued the attempt at capture.
 
Moonlight jumped off the Elctrode kicking its face and grabbed her Skitty. She rolled away and stepped on some dark characters foot. " Oops..." She mumbled with a sweat drop.

Zaar turned his head toward the group, watching them for a bit, before turning and finding an Electrode ready to explode and blast him to bits. He quickly rolled backwards, going just out of range of the Electrode's explosion.

While the beast was stunned, Zaar used a little bit of his remaining willpower to capture it, acquiring help from Raphael, freezing the Electrode so it wouldn't explode again. His breathing was audible and heavy at this point, and he was doubting whether or not he would be able to capture another one of those Dragonites.

Moonlight then stepped on his foot, and he shouted in pain before throwing a furious glance at her. "Next time you won't be so lucky," he spat, and continued to try and recuperate.
 
" Errr...Sorry?" Moonlight said, a little scared. Then she held up a cross to him. " BEGONE SATAN!!!" Moonlight then giggled and ran to capture a pokemon. Thinking what a weird guy to be in the Union.
 
Tempest sighed with relief as the Dragonite she had just managed to capture seemed to smile at her in a friendly manner. It just wasn't natural for Dragonite to suddenly drop a dozen Electrode on innocent people, let alone think evil thoughts.

And just when she thought it was safe, an Electrode rolled over behind them, and unexpectedly used Sonicboom, causing a huge explosion, sending Tempest and her partner Pokemon flying, Dragonite just being pushed back slightly by the momentum of the blow. However, now that the Dragonite was on her side, it was willing to assist her when capturing Pokemon.

"Dragonite! Jolteon! Mantine! Let's capture that Electrode!" Tempest yelled, flicking her styler into the air before looping around and around the Electrode. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to appreciate that all too much, and prepared to attack once again.

"Duck for cover, everyone!" Tempest yelled as the Electrode decided to use Explosion, causing an even more damage than before. Fortunately, it was worn out and nearly all out of energy due to attacking itself.

"Okay! Let's do this, guys!" Tempest grinned, before swiftly looping her styler around the Electrode with power yet beauty. Within minutes, the Electrode had been safely captured.
 
Cole slowly finished capturing the Dragonite, sweating with the effort of capturing it.

"That was hard," he mumbled, taking a step back and sliipping on something large and round, upon turning, he saw the Electrode, grinning as it began to glow.

"Oh, no," Cole mumbled, and kicked the Pokemon. It went rolling away towards the wall, then exploded against it, revealing a strange hallway-like passage.

"My escape passage!" the Ranger Union president, who had been hiding in the corner heroicly, said, then ran towards the opening, disappearing inside it. Before leaving completely, the man stuck his head out into the room, winked, and changed into a large Spiritomb, cackling and floating down the escape route, which lead north. Large bars radiating shadow blocked the door, and every uncaptured Dragonite or Electrode escaped.

"We're going to need a Pokemon with a great Cutting ability," Cole said. "I doubt there are many Pokemon around that could help with that. Anyone have Partner Pokemon that can Cut things?"
 
Zaar stepped forward. "Omega would more than likely be able to do the job," he said, tilting his head toward his Absol. He walked up to the bars, and pointed right at them. Omega took the command, and slashed the bars with the scythe-like protrusion on his head...


OOC: Letting you decide whether or not it's enough, not sure if a Cut x4 would do it...
 
The bars were cut to pieces by the powerful scythe on the Absol's head. They still gave off the malovent energy, however, and soon it was clear why.

Two Gengar came out of the bars, grinning as they proceeded to block the exit. The bars were now simply regular steel.

"Of course," Cole said, and ran up to one. "Capture on!"

His Arcanine came up and used it's Poke-assist to help Cole capture the Gengar. He stepped back as the Gengar he had captured faded into a shadow.

"I can't capture the other one," Cole confessed. "My styler's nearly broken. Anyone want to give it a shot?"
 
"I'll give it a try," Zaar said, and he calmly walked up within range of the Gengar.

"Capture on!"

The Gengar immediately began teleporting around the area, and Zaar tried to keep it in the loops. It then shot out a plume of fire, which started following the trail left by his Styler. "Raphael, a little help here?" he said, and the Weavile activated its Poke Assist, which Zaar used to freeze the Gengar in place, as well as make the plume of flame dissipate.

After a while, Zaar finally managed to capture the Pokemon, sweating a bit from the effort.
 
Before the Gengar left or got captured one of them licked her. " Ewwwwww! How gross! Yet it's sorta cool... Unless I get nightmares." She said, wiping slime off
OOC: that better? or do u need something else? or did I godmod to much?
