I'd might as well apply for a job at Nintendo because I keep getting these Pokémon game ideas.
Anyway, what if for the 20th Anniversary, they would remake Pokémon Red and Blue for the Wii U? Yep, Wii U, not 3DS. But it's compatible with the 3DS for trades and battles with XY and ORAS.
It could be in Wii U HD 3D. Yep. Kanto in HD 3D. From Pallet Town to Indigo Plateau.
Red U would be a remake of Red and FireRed, while Blue U is Blue and LeafGreen. But they also have inspirations from Yellow and the Johto games.
The Sevii Islands return, but this time, there's three new islands that are unlocked with the Omni Pass you get from completing the Network Machine quest. There's Eight/Battle Island, Nine/World Island, and Ten/Legend Island.
Battle Island is the Battle Frontier. It has thirteen facilities: Battle Tower, Battle Factory, Battle Arena, Battle Pike, Battle Palace, Battle Pyramid, Battle Dome, Battle Arcade, Battle Castle, Battle Hall, Battle Chateau, Battle Mason and Battle Town. There are routes between facilities. These facilities are similar to past games, except with different Frontier Brains. For the Battle Town, you fight all the residents to win.
World Island is like a united embassy. It has towns based on Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova and Kalos. Each one is full of houses where important characters from the region in question live. You can battle Gym Leaders, heroes (other player characters like Ethan, May, Lucas), Elite Four members, Champions, Rivals, etc. It's basically another Pokémon World Tournament. You can also meet Pokémon Professors who give you their regional starter Pokémon and Storage System developers who give you their favorite Pokémon of the region. However, they are there only on certain days.
Legend Island is home to many legendaries. Mew in Unknown Forest, Ho-Oh in the Rainbow Tower, Lugia in the Ocean Den, Celebi in the Time Forest, the Regi Legendaries in the Regi Ruins, the list goes on.
The Kanto Pokédex stays to the classic 151 Pokémon. I know, I could have added cross-gen evolutions or a few Johto Pokémon, but that could make some genwunners rage. Happiness can't reach maximum until the Elite Four is beaten. Move tutors in the Sevii Islands can teach evolutionary moves, the Moss and Ice Rocks are in Pattern Bush and Icefall Cave respectively, the Power Plant needs a Machine Part from the Rocket Warehouse to evolve Magneton to Magnezone. To obtain the National Dex, you must defeat the Elite Four and have seen all 151 Pokémon. Non-Legendary Pokémon not originally seen in trainer battles (like Magmar) will be seen in trainer battles. Mew is registered in the Pokédex once the player reads the journal in Cinnabar Mansion.
Roaming Pokémon return and work the way they did before Gen V. Moltres roams Kanto after seeing it instead of Articuno through the binoculars. Latias and Latios roam the Sevii Islands after you complete the Network Machine
Team Rocket's plot is expanded to plan to capture Mewtwo.
There could be new Mega Evolutions, like Mega Raichu, Mega Machamp and Mega Typhlosion.
There could be voice acting with actors from 4Kids and TPCi.
Red and Leaf could be rivals for the opposite-gendered player alongside the main rival, Blue.
Every Pokémon Center has a Wi-Fi Club and a Global Terminal.
Every gym has it's own remix.
The legendary birds have their own themes.
The legendary beasts are found in certain locations after getting the National Pokédex. Entei at Moltres' former lair at Mt. Ember. Suicune on Route 25 like HGSS and Raikou at Route 10.
The Celadon Game Corner is replaced with an Arcade that let's you play a variety of minigames. The gambling is reduced so that instead of coins, you buy Arcade Tokens to play the games. It's 1,000 Poké Dollars for 10 tokens. Your high scores earn you GP (Game Points) which you can use to purchase prizes next door.
When you visit Bill after getting the National Dex, he gives you a Poké Radar that you can use to catch non-Kanto Pokémon.
You can also get on the S.S. Anne once a year on the date that you first board it.
So, would you be interested in playing this on the Wii U?
