In Silk #1 from Marvel Comics, the titular heroine fights an incompetent villain who calls himself Dragonclaw, and she says it sounds like a Pokemon. A small Jigglypuff figure can be seen in a later panel. In the next issue, we see a Staryu plushie on her bed.

What other references to Pokemon have you seen in other media recently?
 
Recently, there was a direct Trainer Red reference in a Korean webtoon called Storm Corporation (JilpungKihwek)

In Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition, there is an achievement titled "Got to catch them all" where the requirement is to "Find an orb." This orb presumably looks like a Pokeball according to the achievement's graphic.
 
In the MOBA game Awesomenauts, one of the characters have an upgrade called Special Offer Skrogchu with a picture of something that looks like Pikachu on it.
 
Civilization 5 has achievements which you can unlock after doing some specific things. 2 of the achievements are:

1) Gotta catch em all.
2) It's super effective!
 
The Owl House is not short on Pokémon references. King definitely looks like he could be a Mon, and the idea is teased in Knock, Knock, Knockin' on Hooty's Door:

In The Binding Of Isaac:
There's an item called Poke Go, which is clearly based off of Pokemon Go.
The Friendly Ball item captures enemies and makes them friendly,
And there's a whole challenge called: "Pokey Mans".

In One Piece chapters 980-981 you can see Meltans hiding in the gears of Kid's arm when he goes to attack Apoo.

In Dungeon Crawler Carl, its mentioned that Carl and Donut could keep Mongo (Donut's pet baby velociraptor) in a device that's, in Carl's words, "similar to a Poké Ball."

In Skullgirls, there's many nods and references to other franchises hiding in character moves, voice lines, and even dialogue, but especially in certain character alt colors. I won't show all of the nods to Pokémon because I'd be here for a while, but I will show one that involves who is probably my favorite Skullgirls character outside of Filia, Annie.

Annie's color 16, known as Model Leader in Skullgirls Mobile, references Nessa and Milotic.

Okay, I hate to double post so soon but I did want to show another since it's an alt color I also really like and if I showed it in my Annie post, it would get a little too big.

Umbrella color 28, known as Raining Champ in mobile, references Iris and Axew.

Conker's Bad Fur Day almost had a Pikachu reference (seemingly negative because of its popularity) but Nintendo didn't allow it.

Also at least Pokemon references aren't exclusive to Gen 1 like how most DK references are mostly exclusive to the arcade game.
