Pokemon Reproduction

Okay, this is a weird question. How the heck do pokemon reproduce? Is it like most organisims, like us? I doubt it because how can a jelly blob, ditto, have reproductive organs? Here is an example of another strange thing: My egg hatches to reveal a mudkip and I put it with a ditto in the daycare as soon as it hatches. Five minutes later, the happy couple has produced and egg! What is going on???

Probably like us, but not like completely. They have like different breeding group so we can assume that not all breed like us. For example pokemon like sunflora and tangela most likely breed like plants but as they are mobile they can just come up and touch flowers.

Mineral pokemon are in an interesting thought but most the others are pretty straight forward.

And ditto can tranform its body to any form so they can reproduce with anything that can reproduce and this factor is in the games.

It's a monster made of tentacles and you think it reproduces with pollen? >_>?

They probably do some happy dance and an egg pops up, like chao.

o_0' Reproduction through a dance, aye? Strange.... I suppose that they all reproduce like us. (you must have completed 6th grade to fully understand what I mean by "like us")

I found out in 4th. ;D

Anyways, I suppose they do it "like us", with the exception of some Pokémon.

Skitty on Wailord action anyone?

Huh, I heard it on the first day of 6 grade by sticking at the back of the bus.

Anyway, tangela is vines, not tentacles. Really, where the hell do people get tentacles? The vine pokemon?

Hmmm..... eh.... ewwww.
I cant imagen that. Not because its too nasty, but because it seems too... hard to do it. Skitty is so small and Wailord is too big!

Hmm... interesting how u learned it. lol
I never really thought about tangela as a vine pokemon. o_0' But it makes sence. I wish that i had thought about it...

Hey look guys! I'm no longer gonna use red font, I like blue better :D
It only a matter of time until i change into green.

No. Thank you.
Pokémon like Grimer and Koffing, however, probably reproduce through mitosis, or "splitting." Don't ask me how, though.

I think Grimer's dex entry says something about Grimer coming from piles of toxic sludge; that's pretty much canon supported, then.

No, I do think they will split, but not like mitosis. In mistosis [if i remember correctly] they old cell dies when the new one is born. There are also many other complicated steps like the chromosomes going to one end and pulling, or the duplication of chromosomes and genetic material. Rather, I think that they'll divide like bacteria where is a straight simple split. A copy of is made, and they split. This theory mainly goes for Muk. I dont know about Whezing.

I think that's what I meant. :sweatdrop:

Oh..k

I wonder if I should change the title so it has a "PG-13" in it...

But when you have Pokémon like Muk breeding with other Pokémon of a different species, how would the "regular split" or whatever be possible? Maybe they harness their power into energy and create an "egg"...I don't know. The Skitty/Wailord thing made me think that sexual reproduction can't be it.

This may seem graphic to some.

Maybe in the case of Skitty and Wailord, the male Wailord masturbates and the female Skitty swims around in his ejaculate.

My god, I can't believe I just wrote that.

I love game logic, everything hatches from eggs, so when Exegcutor has an egg, it hatches to be like 6 eggs. XD

All I can say is LOL.

That's probably it, if Pokémon reproduce sexually. I never thought of that...I don't know why.

From what I researched (yes, I researched it), a blue whale's penis is 16 ft. long and it's testicles way 22 lbs. each.

:smacks myself in the face: Why in God's name am I reading that?
