This story is a multi-chapter saga, which I will continually update ;)

POKEMON REVOLUTION: Cataclysm
Pokemon Revolution
Prologue
The Slowking walked out of the forest, and stood quietly in the dusk of the plain, staring at the dark cloud-streaked sky. The air was moist, and the Slowking could sense a storm approaching. Within a few minutes of meditating peacefully, the Slowking opened its eyes as a drop of rain fell onto its nose. It stuck out its tongue as the rain began to fall, tasting the rain. Acid. It was not natural, the only thing that could cause this was...
"Arrrrrs! Arrrrrrrs! Nik! Nik!" The Arseneon leaped from the foliage, its lime and dark green fur sparkling as it swung its razor-ended tail at the Slowking. It simply stepped to the side, narrowly avoiding the poisonous attack.
From the foliage leaped a broad figure, a man whose age appeared to be roughly around thirty. He had five o'clock shadow upon his face, and bore the red jumpsuit and styler of a Pokemon Ranger.
"Slowking! Use Ice Beam!" shouted Murph.
The Pokemon leaned its head back, and a frosty, blue bolt of energy erupted from its mouth. The Arseneon jumped to the side, hissing as the pointed hairs on its back stood up.
Murph extended his Styler, pointing towards the Arseneon who began to frantically hurl toxic barbs at the orb encircling it. The styler line glowed, and shattered as the Poison Pokemon used Take Down, causing the Pokemon catching device to lose energy.
"Darn," cursed Murph, and exclaimed, "Slowking! Use Mach Punch!"
Slowking loosed an extremely fast punch, causing it to become a pink blur in the air as it fist struck the Arseneon.
From the other side of the clearing, a man clad in a green uniform leapt and pointed at Slowking.
"Use Poison Tain, now!"
The evolved Eevee's tail glowed in a shade of fluorescent purple as it flew towards Murph's Pokemon.
"Slowking! Protect!"
A barrier of white energy glowed in front of Slowking as it placed its paws up and effortlessly blocked the move.
"Take Down!" exclaimed the man in green, as the Arseneon leaped towards Slowking's now-diminished shield, shattering it and sending Slowking flying back.
"Ice Beam, Slowking!" shouted Murph.
Slowking once again shot a bolt of neon energy from its mouth, causing the Arseneon to freeze on contact.
"Now! Mach Punch!"
Slowking darted forwards with a light-speed punch, breaking the ice to pieces and causing the freezing Arseneon to fall to the ground, unconscious.
"Come back," grunted the man, holding out a black Pokeball, its red energy beam pulling the fainted Pokemon back into storage. "You win this time," he said, "I'm defenseless now. But Team Aero will prevail! I swear it!"
Just at that moment, a mighty Staravia swept into the clearing, lifting the grunt up and out of the forest in the blink of an eye.
"Good work," said Murph, nodding to his Pokemon.
They stepped forwards as the light acidic rain faded out, a bit further into the forest. Before they knew it, they had found what they were looking for.
Murph lifted the yellow-black egg decorated with zigzag lines up into his hands, felt its hard shell with his calloused palms, and placed it under his jacket. It was safe, now.
But not for long.
