Introduction
So I have this idea of a Stadium game called Pokémon Royale which I made a separate forum here. And like the Orre games, it has a story. And like the main series, it has gym badges and it's own Pokédex. And remember that it is a fan game, so if it feels like a walkthrough, well it kinda is, but I'll try to focus on the story. (Note:Gameplay notes will be displayed like this.) Let's begin now!
Boot Up
So you bought the game and you are really excited to play it. You put the disc into your Wii U. After watching the opening cinematic, you go into the title screen and pressed A. You play through some battles, minigames and whatever you want to do before selecting "Story". You then select "New Game" and get introduced to a man in a lab coat.
"Hello," says the Professor, "Welcome to the Adven region. I am Professor Wood. This world is inhabited by creatures called Pokémon." He opens a red and white ball. Out popped a yellow mouse. "Such as this Pikachu. But we don't know much about Pokémon. There are some mysteries about them. But first, tell me about yourself. Are you a boy or a girl?"
After taking in the stupid question, you tap the boy on your GamePad.
"And what is your name," asks Professor Wood.
You type in "SEAN".
"Sean, are you ready?" asks Wood. "Your adventure will is about to begin."
Chapter 1: The Adventure Begins
Sean wakes up and stretches. He gets out of bed and goes downstairs.
"Glad your awake," said Mom. "Professor Wood wants to see you in his lab."
Sean leaves the house to be greeted by his girlfriend, Olivia.(Note:You may notice that Olivia has the same model as the female player. If you choose to play as a girl, your boyfriend is the male player Oliver.).
"Hi Sean," says Olivia. "Have you got your Pokémon? No? Then I guess we're going together."
"Wait up Sis," says her twin brother Matt.(Note:Like you and Olivia, Matt's gender also varies on your choosen gender. If you pick the girl, Oliver would have a sister named Maddie)
"You thought it was going to be a date?" asks Matt. "I'm getting my Pokémon, too."
"I never said it was a date," said Olivia. "You are coming too, Matt. We siblings need to stick together. Anyway, do you know the way, Sean?"
Olivia and Matt start following Sean. They enter the building northeast of Hom Town and are greeted by Professor Wood.
"Sean, Olivia, Matt," says Wood. "I'm glad you've come. So you want to be Pokémon Trainers? Well here's a Pokémon for each of you." He points to a table where three Pokémon are standing on. On the left, there's a Snivy. Cyndaquil sits in the middle. Piplup is on the right.
"You can choose the one you want," said Wood.
Chapter 2: The Trainer's Journey
Sean looks at the Cyndaquil.
"So, you want the Fire-type Cyndaquil?" asks Wood.
Sean nods.
Wood recalls Cyndaquil and gives Sean the Poké Ball.
"Snivy's cute," said Olivia. "I want it."
Wood gives Olivia Snivy's Poké Ball.
"Then I'll take Piplup," said Matt.
Wood gives Matt Piplup.(Note:Olivia/Oliver gets the Pokémon weak against your starter and Matt/Maddie gets the one strong against you)
