Well, seeing how basically no one actually knows anything about this other than it's a promotional set, how exactly is this variant rule system actually played? I can't seem to find the listings anywhere. In fact, there isn't even really any information on it on the main site!

I already know that I'm not going to buy this, as it's basically a waste of money. However, I would still like to know how it's played if only for some insight for building alternate styles of play.

it definitely is, but once you have the pieces you can do a lot of personal modifications with your own cards and the game to make it quite complicated. But then again, simplistic is nice, as it is good for introducing young players or people who weren't originally interested into the tcg

Well, I was looking at it for ideas on round about ways for making a TCG based RPG system for pokemon. But I don't see it working well for that. Not enough control over what happens, along with too much chance.
