the opening scene does a good job of carrying of where the last episode left off
the interactions between officer jenny and ash are well handled coming across as amusing as well as serious at times
nurse joy comes across as far more out spoken and tough and lot most of the others seem to telling ash of when she thinks his to blame for Pikachu's condition
team rockets introduction is handled really well come a cross as a actual threat as well as being amusing if their bicker with each other wise arse comments to the gang
the references to ash's dad it's a shame we never hear anything else about him
the balance between comedy and drama is well handled
the interactions between the characters
team rocket's first attack doing a great job at setting up their future attacks
the final scenes it's a good set up for the next episode
