As you may be aware, throughout much of the world, there has been issues in regards to the distribution of Shiny Koraidon and Shiny Miraidon throughout the world, with the codes disappearing in just hours (or in some cases days before they were meant to be released). And compounding this, these codes were officially released the same day that the new Trading Card Game set (which was the target of much scalping) were released, which has seen VG codes for these Pokemon potentially given to scalpers, who are now selling these codes for US$50 or more (in some cases, as little as US$100). Like many people on the forums, I will not be giving in to these selfish scalpers who are ruining Pokemon Video Games for the players who are genuinely playing the games, and sadly, there are also people online giving out hacked Pokemon, often at a cost for genuine players. Sadly, this has not been unique to the United States of America, as this has also happened in Australia. For me, I went to EB Games at Watergardens this morning, and they were sold out of these codes. This also happened at EB Games in Deer Park (at Brimbank Shopping Centre) and at EB Games in Caroline Springs (at Caroline Springs Square).
As I discussed in another thread, what we have seen reeks with corruption as some staff at places such as GameStop (in the United States of America) and EB Games (here in Australia) has seen staff members (and even store managers) saying that they have no stock available, yet have stock in the back reserved for families and friends. As fans of the video games, we should all fight back against these scalpers, as well as fight back against people who are selling hacked Pokemon for profit and are ruining Pokemon for the fans who spent so much time and money supporting the franchise. And I hope that Nintendo and Pokemon gets behind the fans and help us fight back against these corrupt officials. We cannot support these scalpers, nor should we support these hackers. We need to support each other, as well as fans around the world (even if they are not on Bulbagarden).
