Pokémon Sleep celebrates World Sleep Day by adding support for sleep tracking using Garmin Smartwatches — Free watch faces now available for download

Owners of Garmin Smartwatches will no longer need to double-up on their Sleep Research, with Pokémon Sleep announcing that the app will now fully support most Garmin smartwatches for Sleep Tracking and studying Pokémon Sleep Styles.

A special collaboration video was released on the official Pokémon YouTube channel to mark this announcement.

This list is not fixed, and may changed in the future, with Garmin devices released after today not guaranteed to be supported. An updated list of compatible devices can be found on the official website, or on Bulbapedia. Please note that while supporting Sleep Research, Pokémon Sleep cannot be used directly on the Garmin smartwatch itself, and this must be paired with the Pokémon Sleep app on an Android or iOS device. Sleep Researchers who have already paired with a Pokémon GO Plus + will be able to maintain the pairing of both devices without issue.

All Sleep Researchers who pair their Garmin smartwatch to Pokémon Sleep and track their sleep on it will receive a one-time gift of 3 Poké Biscuits. This reward can be received at any time until November 1st of this year.

A pair of watch faces, Pokémon Sleep: Snorlax & Friends and Pokémon Sleep: I Choose You, are also now available for free download on Garmin’s Connect IQ Store app. Snorlax & Friends features Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu, and Snorlax on Greengrass Isle, while I Choose You allows users to customize their watch face with one of 48 different Pokémon available in Pokémon Sleep. These interactive watch faces will display Pokémon in different poses depending on the remaining Body Battery energy level on the Garmin smartwatch, as well as a different sleep style each night.

Please note however that these watch faces are compatible with a more limited range of Garmin devices than the actual Sleep Tracking functionality. The list of compatible smartwatches for these watch faces can be found below.
