Pokémon Sleep to receive update to Version 2.12.0 this week ahead of the Raikou, Entei, and Suicune Research Event

Pokémon Sleep will enter a maintenance period this week for an update of the software to Version 2.12.0. This update is expected to run for roughly four and a half hours, commencing Thursday September 4th at 4:30am (UTC), and continuing through until 9:00am (UTC). In addition to preparing the game for the upcoming Raikou, Entei, and Suicune Research Event, the update also buffs Braviary & Mimikyu's Main skill chance, and introduces several balance adjustments for the Sleep Point Exchanges which will go live on October 1st.

While this update may not be changing a whole lot on the front-end, back-end changes with this update mean that Researchers may have issues with commencing sleep tracking during the maintenance period if they update the app prior to the maintenance period being completed. Researchers are advised to start tracking their sleep from the Under Maintenance screen, rather than actually updating the app during maintenance.

Other​

• Compatibility with newer versions of Unity
  In-app data will be re-downloaded the first time you log in after the Sep. 4 maintenance update finishes.
