Pokémon Snap coming to Wii Virtual Console: VC release to add new features; launch confirmed ...

The Nintendo 64 title Pokémon Snap is coming to the Wii Virtual Console, with the added ability to save Pokémon photos to the Wii Message Board. It will be available to download in Japan Tuesday, then in North America on Dec. 10, and will cost 1,000 Wii points.

I will eventually get it, but not right away.
 
Can't wait till I get a Wii, then I can buy it and some other games. *coughcoughpbrcoughcoughbrawlcough*
 
Okay so I guess they will be adding features to some VC games. ALRIGHT NINTENDO YOU GET A PAT ON THE BACK - THIS TIME.
 
I was hoping for an updated Pokemon snap, not just the N64 version
 
I was kinda hoping for a remake on the wii. :( But I'll take anything that has pokemon on the wii.
 
Can't wait to have money to buy a tv/wii and to have the will power to still focus on school while owning one D:

I wonder if we'll be able to use the Wii Remote for this N64 version.

But seriously, an updated Wii version would be perfect! I can already envision Piplup's spinning Bubblebeam.
 
I have the N64 cart, but I'll be downloading this anyway.
 
Buy one of the $20 Points cards. They give you 2000 points that you can use. Or you could use the Wii to buy them online.

It's not an added feature, they're just letting the data you could originally send to those Blockbuster printers get sent to the Wii message board instead.

So no, Nintendo aren't going to be adding anything to any VC games.

I see. But it at least shows they're doing more than direct rom ports when they can. So hopefully some memory card-compatible games will work properly, since Mario Kart 64 had to have all that chopped off.

Or (less likely) rumble in some N64 games, or even (even less likely) putting the games in a higher resolution.

I guess I would have never seen that import titles thing coming so I could be wrong.
