Good bit of news for fans of the ol' Snap, eh?

I knew it was only a matter of time, it's such an awesome game. I can't wait till it gets released to English VCs.

Yeah, it's not as good as Pokemon Snap 2 for Wii, but yeah, we can only hope. Arch, you better respond to this thread, or at least view it, or else I'll get Kasumi to spam your inbox with it.

EDIT - I mean, hypothetically, if Pokemon Snap 2 ever was released, no announcements yet.

"As good as"? How could you know? It isn't even confimed is it? I can't have been that far under a rock to not notice.

Bleah, my bad. I meant hypothetically, if it ever was released. I'll go put an edit in for that post.

The official web site has a page dedicated to the special release.

It seems to me that if there were a sequel game, its sales would suffer from this move. The Pokémon Company has always advertised sequel games with as least as possible acknowledgement of borrowing the concept from an older game.

I would try to convince my brother to d/l the game when it comes out here but we still have it for 64 so he doesn't need to. But maybe he'll get it anyways.

Awesome. I've always wanted Snap, but have only played it at other peoples' houses. Can't wait to get it.

The fact they added new features to this game's Virtual Console download certainly is interesting and even cool.

However, I still have my Nintendo 64 cart, so I won't actually be downloading this. Although, I am thinking of taking screen caps if I want to share my old photos sitting in that cart.

Still have a working copy of the n64 cart...but my n64 controllers are stuffed, so I may just end up buying this anyway, especially with the extra features. We had state competitions for this game years back in Australia, and yours truly came out on top. My pride and reputation is on the line to get the best possible shots for Wii messages. ;)
