D/P boy and D/P Rival look to be lovers.

...

:D I love it already.

Wasn't the last hero gay?

Sadly, no. It was revealed in the last chapters that Ruby and Sapphire only acted opposite to their genders because of a childhood trauma involving a Salamence and that Sapphire really is a girly girl and Ruby is really a big macho fighting man. Which was a total cop-out, if you ask me.

Bah, that was nothing compared to the Celebi deus ex machina. Besides, it's not like they revert to their pre-Salamence personalities.

They did for a while, until they reappeared in the Battle Frontier, it seems.

You gotta be F'ing kidding me!

I disagree, though perhaps it would depend on exactly which "a while" you mean - what events?

I think he means until the end of R/S...

Anyway, I don't really mind Ruby being straight as a ruler. Ever since I saw the designs for the R/S playable characters, I've imagined Brendan as a really hot guy who was a complete rudearse and ladies' man, so the way he ended up as a manly man pleased me.

D/P boy (Diamond?), on the other hand, would make the perfect gayboi! Just look at the way he and Rival are touching! :D

Throughout the training with Ardan and until Archie and Maxie were defeated, Ruby was depicted as a stoic and macho MiniNorman protecting shy Sapphire from the harm of battle and such.

Meanwhile when they show up back at the Battle Frontier, they're mostly back to normal with Ruby being a bit ditzy and girly and Sapphire being grumpy but still wanting to get into Ruby's pants - so to speak.

I admit that is true, to an extent, however, I will also say that those were extenuating circumstances; plus, he has exhibited such behaviour before, at least twice.

Wouldn't "the last hero" refer to Emerald?

Well, in my opinion, Emerald is a sort of anti-hero - he doesn't have quite the same likeable qualities as a stereotypical hero.

Emerald's not gay. He's just freaking insane. I also think he's sort of a parody of NetBattler/Metagamers who don't really like Pokemon because they like the particular characters or design or species - but just for the sake of movesets and such. He more or less refers to "Tanks", "Sweepers" and such in dialogue . .

Does he actually suffer from dwarfism, anyways?

I...Thought he was gay o.o;
oh well,thats changed,..alot XD;
Good that the new mangas are comming out, time to import them like I did with all the others XP
