Pokémon Sprite Icons [Closed; Slots Full!]

recently, i discovered a set of extremely oldschool 32x32 pixel icons of all the gen 1-2 pokemon made by a japanese pokemon fan going by the name of mewheart... these were widely used on forums and within chatrooms back in the early 2000s. i was so inspired by these that i decided i wanted to make a set of my own!

i'm starting with the original 151 kanto pokemon, but i don't have any particular order i want to go in. i thought it would be fun if i took requests for which sprite to do next. please feel free to drop the name or number of any kanto pokemon!

i've done a single sprite so far - pikachu as a test. this is what the end result will look like more or less, a 32x32 pixel sprite... but i am also providing upscaled versions with a colored background that is optimized perfectly to be used as a bulbagarden icon! you are free to specify what color you'd like in the background by the way...!

we may not be commonly using 32x32 pixel sized icons anymore but you can still use these as icons regardless...or you can just stick the little sprites in your signature or whatever. consider these free to use for social/page decoration purposes. i would appreciate credit but it is not strictly required.

disclaimer that quality may vary because i have not done a ton of spriting before. the turnaround time might also be very random depending on how tired i am or how busy i am. regardless, i will do my best!

Could I request a Mew? I leave the background color to you. On the other hand, if you could make the Mew a pastel green/pistacchio (similar value to the shiny and normal one but greenish) that would be cool. If not, that is great too!

it would be easy to swap the colors around at the end and make a normal pink version and a version with pastel green for you. that being said just to make sure i’m hitting the right hue range could you give me a hex color code or an image that’s just a square of roughly the color you mean? if it isn’t too much trouble!

sooo i realized i had forgotten to do shiny versions of the prior sprites! i fixed that:

@Mialentia out of the two you suggested, i picked golbat!

i've dedicated myself to using the GSC colors (crystal in this case, golbat actually changed colors between GS and C...) but that turned out to be really challenging for this one!

the white as highlights to differentiate the inner wing color works a lot better on the bigger canvas. most of my time spent on this sprite was trying to finalize the wings in a way i didn't hate. hahaha. (also those shiny colors are absolutely bonkers)
