I'm sorry if this has been discussed before.

In the new versions, the Pokemon Sprites change their pose. Sometimes its a really cool thing but the other times i think they have messed up the Pokemon and how it looks or made it look ugly.

So i just want to see what everyone thinks about it and share which ones they think look like they should have stayed the same or different completely.

I'm only going off the changes from the most recent games.

I think they messed up:
Rhyperior (Diamonds and Pearl sprite looks better then Plats)
Aerodactyl (DPP sprite looks weird compared to the one in LG and FR)
Palkia (DP looks better)
Floatzel (I prefered the DP compared to Plats, DP made him look more bada$$ while Plats made him look more playful)


Thats a little example and just to name a few. So let me know what u think.

the new neck looks like it's broken and stupid, he's smooshed into the frame

Nidokings sprites from Red/blue, and FRLG look better than his one now.

Absols Gen III sprites look better than Gen IV's.

Pikachues yellow sprite looked cutest, he's more anorexic now, but the other Gen I sprites look to fat. Yellow is Juuust right.

Grovyles gen III sprites were best.

FRLG Aerodactyl looks best.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on Charizard, i think the new one looks better then the old ones but the Charizard in LGFR looks better.
 
their tries to improve a sprite sometimes fails, look at Rhyperior's platinum sprite....

How? Just because it's got it's ass slightly raised? Yes, that's blatantly ruining a Pokémon's "reputation".

Pikachu looks nowhere near anorexic. I might just edit a Pikachu sprite to make him anorexic too show you what it would look like. Pikachu is slender. Pikachu is a mouse. Now, mice look both fat and slender, when they're sitting the are fat, like Pikachu's Silver and Green (+Japanese Red) sprites. However when running they look more like Pikachu's DPP sprite, or when they're raised up. Unless Pikachu is based on a door-mouse (no way, Pikachu is far to big).

I'm in a rage mode today.

porygon2. He gets a messed up shade in platinum. Also Mew should have seen the same colour as in R/S
