Pokémon Stat Screen - Colored numbers

In HGSS, when I am at the screen showing the stats of a Pokémon, some of the numbers seem to be a slight shade of red (I think). It is easiest to see this if you look at the DS screen from a lower than normal angle (i.e. tilting the screen upwards so you are looking at it from the bottom). What do the colored numbers represent?

I will also tackle this, as my downloaded TRU Regigigas has all but one stat specially colored.

EDIT: It seems to have to do with IVs:

A . represents a space. There are not 7 tenths of an IV for DEF.

I'm noticing it too.
I tested my Gyarados.
IVs: 8/19/6/27/3/16
HP: White
Atk: White?
Def: White
SpA: Blue
SpD: White
Speed: Red

It shows which stats are increased/decreased by the nature.
Red = Increase. Blue = Decrease.

That is all.

It has nothing to do with ivs, it has to do with natures. If you compare the stats raised and lowered with the pokemon's nature to the coloured stats, you'd realize this was true. I've been checking my pokemon's ivs, the good ones are not necessarily coloured.

I don't know how that can be true about your regigigas. Are you sure you're looking at it right? What colour are these alternate colours in its stats exactly?

Honestly, how any of you discovered this, I'll never know. These alternate colors are just barely legible, even when I view the screen at an angle, like OP said.

Well, it did help that several months back this was revealed in a coro coro scan. A lot of us knew to look for it.

I looked at Regigigas again, and it seems that it was because of the lighting. The Defense stat was being lowered, with the Speed stat being raised.
I guess this makes those nature charts seem somewhat useless now...

Oh well. I couldn't find the answer anywhere.

I noticed this a while ago ... and was going to post it but ... I just couldn't put my copy of ... SS down ... long enough to do so. sorry chasing Entei. I like it since I can't seem remember the effects of any of the natures other than jolly, adamant, timid and modest.

I noticed this a while back while playing. Didn't think too much of it, or worry about it. Nice to know it's just natures.
