EVERYONE: - Ongoing Pokemon: Summer Island

A long time ago, a few thousand years maybe, there was an island. This island was medium sized island located not far from the north pole. It was froen over as you might expect being so close.

Nothing much was on the island, only a large mountain that had a cave that lead under the sea. One day the ground shook, and a few days later, the island became a tropical paradise. How could that be? The island was near the north pole and it was frozen before right?

Just like Palkia and Digila shaped the Sinnoh region, there too was a creature that created this tropical paradise, "Mossmur"

No one knows much about the legendary Mossmur, but it was said to have appeared after a powerful metior smashed into the sea near the island. All that legend states is the "Mossmur" however it got there, lives in the mountain cave and harnesses the suns solar energy to create a perminant tropical heat that extends 1 mile right around the island. It is also said that this pokemon can stay awake for up to 3-4 months on end, then go to sleep, and when it sleeps, comes the rainy season, because while it is awake, the days will always be hot and sunny.

Also written, it is siad that the Mossmur cannot leave the island or it will become frozen again. If it were to die on the island, as long as its body remains there, summer island will always be warm.

Today, the isnald has only 2 towns, "Seasurf" and "Celestia Cove", and one professor that arrived not long ago, Gary Edmund. So far only 60 pokemon have been identified on the island and a few are:

Mismos - A Small Moss like creature that resembles a hedgehog but with moss on its back and branches

Garwater - A dragon thats body is pure water, no one yet knows how it survives.

Starmite and Starbrite - Apparently a close reletive of Staryu and Starmie, but these are ground types, not water.

There is a large colony of combee on the isnald and their hive is in a forest called "Clestic Forest" which is near "Celestic Cove" where the legend Mossmur is supposed to live

A few other pokemon on island are: butterfree, beautifly, Beedrill, Combee, Diglet, Lapras, Wurmple, Dustox, Venomoth, Bellsprout and some more...

Honestly, this doesn't seem like a fanfic at all. It seems like a *setting* for a fic, but all this is right now is a description of the setting. It sounds interesting, but it's not a fic. Do you want me to move it to a more appropiate place or will you be going somewhere with this?

Part 1: Summer Island adventure

It is now the modern day, a young pokemon trainer who is 15 years old, had blue eyes and short light brown hair from far away decided to visit the island, so he got on the S.S seasurf and headed to Seasurf Town. When he arrived, he saw a tropical paradise and wooden hut like buildings and a sign wihc read "Seasurf Town - Sunny on the shore"

He noticed that there was only 4 people in Seasurf, on being a pokemon professor and the other 3 being a family that had lived there for past 10 years, a man (Marcus) woman (Janine) and their daughter, Jackie aged 14.

He decided to first go see the professor to see what to do next. Brork entered a building that was a lab and it had many equiptment, pokedexes, pcs and various pokeballs in it. At the far end of the room stood a man about 6ft tall, light brown messed up hair and a goty beard. Looked around 30-35 years of age. The trainer went up to the man.

The professor said he was Edmund and had visited the island to gain knowladge and find out why its always summer on the island. He said to the young trainer that he had a pokedex, but it was incomplete.

The trainers name was Brork and he said he had came from Fieorre region as his mother was a pokemon ranger there. Professor Edmund explained who he was and what the island was and general information he thought Brork would need to know

Brork took the pokedex and told the professor he would record all images of all the pokemon he sees in it and about them, so that data could be gathered and a full pokedex made. Edmund said he had only one pokemon he could have as he had bred them in past. It was a Squritle.

Brork happly took the Squritle and went to start his journey. He was also given a map of the island, 6 pokeballs,3 full restores and a bed in the spare room of the professors house.

"One last thing" Professor Edmund told Brork, "You must make sure that you do not use any bird pokemon to fly with, because if you reach a certian height, the air becomes icy and snowy, if you look way up there you can see that, but the power from the mossmur on the island repells the snow from falling. It may explain why there is no recorded bird pokemon on island beside pilliper and wingulls."

Now on the island there was only 1 pokemon center and pokemart as it was so hard to get the items the island needed.

Part 2: Some Summer Morning

It was the day after Brork had been given all his equiptment and Squirtle. He had spent the night at the Professors house. Brork seemed eagar to get out and explore the island. After a quick breakfast of cereal and scrambled eggs, he was on his way.But before he left, he decided to make a stop at Marcus and Janine's house to say hi.

Jackie came up to the door and said in a happy voice "Hi, your Brork right? We don't get very many new faces around here." "Yes" replied Brork, "I am here to explore this island and have been given the task to complete a pokedex of all pokemon on island. Professor Edmund wants this for his research as not all pokemon have yet been recorded."

"Well" replies Jackie, "Thats neat. But I would like you to have this device before you go. I was going to give it to the Professor to give to you, but your here now and be best if you had it before you left" She hands Brork a pokewatch that is light blue in colour. "There is three functions on it only at moment, a digital clock, a call function, so you can call us or professor if you need help or anything and a function that beeps if an item is nearby. The call settings have our phone number and the professors on it. I will record your number and store it so we know its you when you call and I will also give number to professor."

"Thank you" replies Brork happily "Better be off" Brork leaves their house and heads of into his adventure. His first journey takes him into the cave "Celestic Cave" a small cave that links Seasurf Town to Celestic Cove. It comes out at Celestic Forest, the next step to Celestic Cove.

Brork looks around and enters the cave. As he enters the cave, it begins to get a bit dark. He can make the faint outline of a small river running through the cave and what appears to be smashed up rocks in different places all over the cave. He walks a few steps forward and decides to sit for a minute to gather his bearings. He finds a nice rock and sits down.

"Gru...Grr..." "What was that?" exclaims Brork. He jumps up in suprise and takes out his Pokedex "Graveler make their homes on sheer cliff by gouging out numerous horizontal holes"

so he sat on a graveler? Part 2 to be continured... (No time to finish now)

"OK" exclaims Brork, "time for my first Pokemon catch!, Lets go squirtle!"

Graveler backs up and starts using rock polish on itself. "Squirtle, use watergun!" Squirtle blasts a jet of water at graveler, but it does not deliver much damage. Graveler looks at squirtle and prepares to use rollout. "OK, Squirtle" shouts Brork, "Jump in the river over there!" Squirtle jumps in the river and rollout misses.

"OK squirtle, suck in a big gulp of the water there!" So squirtle gulps in a big gulp of water. "Direct the water at the graveler and fire!" Squirtle blasts the water at the graveler at full force knocking it back some. Looking confused, the graveler picks up a large rock nearby and prepares to throw it at squirtle. "Squirtle, dive deep into the water!"

Squirtle dives deep in water and graveler throws the rock into the water and it makes a tremendous splash knocking squitle into the air and lands beside Brork. "Squirtle are you ok?" says Brork with a worried look. Squirtle gets up, shaking and nods. The graveler prepares to use rollout again. "Dodge the attack" so squirtle jumps and the rollout misses and graveler falls into a rock and is hurt bad. "OK, guess this is it" says Brork "Go Pokeball" Brork throws a precise pokeball and he waits to see if the pokemon is caught, a few seconds go by and he has finally caught his first pokemon, a graveler.

Please with himself and how his squirtle acted he gets up puts squirtle back in pokeball and collects the graveler and continues on his journey.
