According to Pokeani, Pokémon Sunday, which currently airs from 8 to 8:30AM Sundays on the TV Tokyo network, will be expanded to a one hour timeslot starting at 7:30AM, beginning October 1, 2006. Additionally, it appears that Pikachu the Podcast host Shōko Nakagawa (中川翔子), nicknamed Shoko-tan (しょこたん), will be joining the regular cast. What the additional time will be used for is unknown at press time.

Is it expanded to 1 hour from now on or that day only?

"beginning October 1"

But I cannot vouch for the reliability of the source that Pokeani used.

New Hoso's please.

May's adventures in Johto, Misty at Cerulean, Tracey/Oak, and...that's about the only characters worth it.

God forbid they make more specials about pointless characters like Richie and Casey. Screw them.

I guess it's too tempting for them to NOT make a Ritchie ep really - I mean, basically it's just writing a normal filler and simply crossing out Ash and replacing it with Ritchie. The two are basically clones of eachother anyway.

I'd really like a simple Oak's lab Pokemon adventure though. No human intervention, no Botch and Cassidy, just Ash's Oak'd Pokemon and make some random Pokemon also there. It would definitely be nice to show Sceptile, Donphan, Swellow and Corphish settling in.

Agreed. I wanna see Sceptile kicking ass at the lab.

But yes, this probably will be used for more Hosos.....

I forgot about Max.

Is he really going to get his first Pokemon? I imagine he'd be doing the Gyms in Hoenn then, that would be cool to see too.

And if the writers want to do justice to his character, they'd have Ralts return to his team as well.

One thing's for sure; if we ever get a Chronicles 2, we know that the dub won't be edited as much as the first batch was.

Hmmm......

The contract says they can't do the voices on Pokemon...

So, in all logic, PUSA could possibly hire Veronica to do May in Hosos....

Anyway, I wonder if we will get another Brock Hoso?

After a year of the new May voice, they wouldn't. (Misty being voiced by Rachael Lillis is slightly more of a possibility.)

As for Brock... "I did go home but everything was fine." The writers could just do what 4Kids did back when they weren't going to dub his hoso.

I know, I just want too see the gym again, and STEELIX!

To initiate the devil's advocate stance, any takers on what the producers could put in this extra 30 minutes besides an animated feature?

* Annoying pointless "variety show stuff".

*Diamond and Pearl Game stuff.

*Pokemon News Around The World.

*Hard Ball with Kimori.
