Heres the official start up thread for the rpg Pokemon Tamers. The video game is stil being worked on but heres what we have so far:
You are walking in the woods when you stumble upon a mysterious device.
"Whats this?" You bend down to pick it up and as you do, a strange light surrounds you. You can feel the world around you fade away and everything goes black. You wake in a world foreign to you. There is a lake in front of you and you are surrounded by trees and beautiful skies.
"Where am I?"
The device lies beside you, a strange light emits from it and suddenly there is another flash of light. You blink a few times before focusing on what is standing in front of you.
"A Pokemon?.."
Rules:
1. Please use correct grammar, and if you can spelling. No emoticons, text talk, or anything of the kind.
2. No swearing.
3. Do not mock or bully another character, unless you’ve come to agreement with the user and you have alerted either me or Rune.
4. If any problems arise, contact me or Rune so we may sort it.
5. No godmodding, otherwise your character will be removed with an excuse for their absence.
6. Follow all forum rules.
7. No pointless posting, if your post doesn’t add to your personal storyline or the general storyline, don’t bother.
8. OOC comments in quote boxes, and don’t post one if that’s all your post consists of.
9. If two conversations are occurring at the same time, to try and limit confusion, please could you quote the conversation you are replying to.
10. In order to separate events from things the characters are doing, events will be in Blue Bold-Italics while actions will be in the normal text.
And remember, events are only posted by the mods (me or Rune).
11. There must be at least 1 three-sentence paragraph in your post.
12. I have the right to stop the RPG if someone is missing an important plot in the storyline.
13. No controlling other characters! You can make your character walk over to someone else, or say something to them, but you cannot control another person’s character, even indirectly, such as ‘(blank) looked up to see (blank) blocking them.’
That counts as controlling another character.
And this goes for anyone else’s pokemon too.
Alright, well, let’s pick up from where the intro ended (and include it in your post so we know you‘re starting:
"A Pokemon?.."
Sasha blinked twice and looked over at the pokemon. It looked like a blue crocodile. It was jumping up and down happily. Sasha looked over beside her and saw the strange device, not too far away from her. She carefully examined the words on the device:
Totodile the Big Jaw Pokemon
Totodile has a habit of biting anything in sight, including its own trainer.
It would be unwise to turn your back on a Totodile.
“Hey you!” A guard shouted at Sasha.
