Pokémon TCG Pocket: Card Dex Registration update — Cards appearing in multiple booster packs to now be registered in every applicable card dex

Based on player feedback received after the release of the Deluxe Pack: ex expansion, Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket has released a statement about an update planned for the Card Dex feature. From now on, when players obtain a card that appears in multiple booster packs, it will be registered in the card dex for all corresponding booster packs. For example, a rarity Mewtwo ex card appears in both the Genetic Apex and Deluxe Pack: ex sets. If a player receives this card from a Deluxe Pack: ex booster pack, it will be registered in the card dex for both Genetic Apex and Deluxe Pack: ex. This will also be automatically be applied to already collected cards retroactively. This update is planned for release in summer 2026 or later.

Card Dex Registration Update​

Thank you all for sharing your feedback regarding the Deluxe Pack: ex special booster pack.
We are planning to update how cards are registered in the card dex. These changes are intended to provide players with a more enjoyable card collecting experience.
The update is planned to include the following:

• When you obtain a card that appears in multiple booster packs, it will be registered in the card dex for all corresponding booster packs.

For example, if you obtain a ♦♦♦♦ rarity Mewtwo ex from a Genetic Apex booster pack, it will be registered in the card dex for both Genetic Apex and Deluxe Pack: ex.

• Cards you have already obtained, including any cards collected from Deluxe Pack: ex, will automatically be registered in every applicable card dex retroactively.
• This card dex update, along with related UI improvements, is planned for release after summer 2026.
