Pokémon TCG Pocket launches its first Mass Outbreak Event, focusing on Arcanine ex and other Fire-type Pokémon — Poké Gold now on sale

A Fire Pokémon Mass Outbreak Event has launched today in Pokémon TCG Pocket. This new event will run through to November 28th at 5:59am (UTC) / November 27th, at 9:59pm (PST), and offers players the opportunity to more easily acquire various cards of various Fire-type Pokémon, as well as new Flair. The in-game shop has also updated its lineup with a selection of sale bundles for Poké Gold.

Fire Pokémon Mass Outbreak Event
Mass Outbreak Events appear to share similarities with the Wonder Pick events. Every time a player's Wonder Pick is updated, there will be a chance of a Bonus Pick or a Rare Pick being made available. Bonus Picks are free, however Rare Picks will require 3 Wonder Stamina.

Each Bonus Pick in this event will include a random selection of the following cards from the Genetic Apex expansion:

• Charmander
• Ninetales
• Rapidash
• Blaine
• Charmander
• Vulpix
• Growlithe
• Ponyta
• Magmar
• Heatmor

Each Rare Pick in this event meanwhile will include a random selection of the following cards from the Genetic Apex expansion:

• Arcanine ex
• Charizard
• Moltres
• Ninetales
• Rapidash
• Charmeleon
• Blaine

As with the previous Wonder Pick event, each of these picks will expire, so players will need to check their Wonder Pick lists frequently to ensure they make use of every opportunity.

Players who obtain enough Arcanine ex will be able to exchange their duplicates and an amount of shinedust for the new event-limited Arcanine ex Circles Flair (Battle): Yellow.

A set of special Missions are also available for this event, awarding players with Wonder Hourglass that can be used to recharge Wonder Stamina. These missions and their rewards are as follows:

• Collect 1 Arcanine ex card - Wonder Hourglass ×1
• Wonder pick 3 times - Wonder Hourglass ×1
• Wonder pick 5 times - Wonder Hourglass ×1
• Collect 5 Fire type cards - Wonder Hourglass ×1
• Collect 10 Fire type cards - Wonder Hourglass ×1
• Collect 15 Fire type cards - Wonder Hourglass ×1
