Which Pokemon do you think should evolve from IV?

I'd say Cherubi should evolve using a sun stone to make something more masculine, the problem is, Cherubis don't look very masculine or feminine. Although when this evolves, it changes into a very girly pokemon which i do like, but its just that it could be male as well and should have a male-like appearance. It can still have it's eggplant-like look, but when it turns sunny, it should change into a more masculine pokemon if you know what i mean?

How about a pre-evolution for chatot? It could be a little circular bird with small wings like a natu.

Chatot shouldn't get a pre-evo, but it SHOULD get an evo possibly based on a lyre bird (since they can make so many sounds).

Look them up on youtube. They're PHENOMENAL birds.

Pachirisu gets an evo PLEASE. Electric/Flying, so that's not reserved for legendaries and I can actually use it without feeling guilty. Carnivine, a prevo. Please.

And since this is IV-only, I won't mention my previous gen ideas.

Problem with a Sun Stone being used to evolved Cherubi is that it wouldn't make sense. People would likely question that if Cherubi can evolve with the Sun Stone now in Generation V, why didn't it evolve with the Sun Stone back in Generation IV?

In contradiction, however, Lickitung was capable of learning Rollout in Generation III through Move Tutor which is the method required for its evolution in Generation IV. Thinking logically, this doesn't make sense... though, I suppose this is Pokemon and it's not meant to always be so logical. :p

Anyway, all that blabber aside, I think the following Pokemon could use an evolution based on either/both their Base Stats (Total) and/or Move Pool:
Arbok, Banette, Castform, Chatot, Cherrim, Corsola, Delibird, Farfetch'd, Girafarig, Jynx, Kecleon, Luvdisc, Magcargo, Masquerain, Minun, Mr. Mime, Mawile, Pachirisu, Plusle, Qwilfish, Sableye, Seviper, Spinda, Sudowoodo.

Might've overdone it a tad, but those are the Pokemon I feel could use an upgrade (might've even missed a few.) Obviously I wouldn't want them to add that many evolutions of old Generation Pokemon to Generation V; rather save some for Generation VI (if they're going to ever go that far with Pokemon.)

Oh yeah, Chatot (in my opinion) doesn't need a pre-evo. If anything an evolution as its BST only = 411... which I'd consider pretty low.

In the "need new stuff for the sake of coolness" Style-wise:
Pikachu needs a new alternate evolution or Form Change to reinvigorate the line. I think the same is true of Meowth - at least he should get a Baby.

And Kangaskhan needs a baby evolution so that we no longer have pregnant mothers hatches from eggs.

Psyduck, for all it's popularity, could also be cooler with a baby form or an alternate evolution into something that still keeps it's appearance. Like some sort of Psychic Platypus.

I would not object to Baby evolutions for Tauros/Miltank and Volbeat/Illumise that evolve based on gender, as so many have proposed.

Also, I really want Unown to do SOMETHING other than sitting around in alphabetical order. I really like what the TCG did and I think it should be applied in the games: Have 17 new Forms for Unown that are created by taking several Unown, arranging them in your party to form a word, and using an item to permanently fuse them together. For instance, spelling out F I R E with the Unown would get you a Psychic/Fire-type Unown that could actually LEARN ATTACKS and DO SOMETHING.

Pokemon that need an evolution to actually make them viable "IE - Give these Pokemon evolutions so they'll be someone out there using them" category:
Farfetch'd, Girafarig, Qwilfish, Magcargo (way too weak to Water and Ground to ever be used majorly), Stantler, Smeargle, Delibird, Sableye, Mawile, Spinda, Kecleon, Chimecho, Luvdisc, Pachirisu, Plusle and Minun, and Chatot are in desperate need of being brought up to speed via evolutions. The list I had used to be longer, but they patched a lot of the totally useless Pokemon in Generation IV. Most of which were non-evolvers with awful stats from Johto.

In the "it would be nice but not entirely necessary category":
Absol, Sunflora, Cherrim, Corsola, Delcatty, Dunsparce, Electrode (can we turn it into something that doesn't look like a ball with a face?!), Kricektune, Torkoal.

In the "never-happen category but would make up for years of crappiness" category:
A useful third-tier evolution for all of the Vendor Trash Pokemon via item. Namely, Raticate, Bibarel, Furret, Mightyena, and Linoone.

Nah, heracross would end up being too powerful if it got a evo, maybe a kinda grub like pre evo? Beetles start life as grubs after all.

Pachirisu maybe should get one and become a electric flying squirrel, that would be awsome.

Electrode (can we turn it into something that doesn't look like a ball with a face?!),
Electrode evolved from voltorb, which was created when an electric charge hit a pokeball, so it seems logical that electrode is the way it is.

However, I would like to see variations on this, with other "balls" being subject to electrical charges in a science lab, more voltorb like forms appeared...

like "Duskorb", "Nestorb", "Healorb", "Quickorb" The Duskorb would be electric/dark as a dusk ball works better in darker areas and "Healorb" can heal its own status problems, "Quickorb" has a high speed and can learn extremespeed (it did come from a quick ball and the faster they are used the better). "Timeorb" has attacks that increase power the more they are used. (ability, metronome which acts like the held item metronome)

That would make for interesting battles. Each type of ball would have a second type that is not just electric and some have higher base stats than others. Some could learn attacks that others can't etc...

Would Masterball Electrode be a Legendary Pokemon?

What would cherish ball do to electrode if there was a way to get hold of one?

Also i think that sableye, solrock, lunatone, swalot, mawhile, solrock, dugtrio, farfeth'd, pinsir, corsola, skarmory, torkoal, spinda, keckleon, and aerodactyl should evolve.

I think that Kanghaskan, tauros, stantler, wailord, zangoose, tropious, and absol should have preevolved forms.

Aerodactyl and Skarmory are already pretty damn powerful. Aerodactyl has one of the highest speed/attack combination in the series and Skarmory is an fantastic tank.

Wailord does have a preevolved form - it's Wailmer. =P Or did you mean Wailmer should have a preevolved form?

A lot of your suggestions for evolutions would be a little silly IMO. First of all, Solrock is there twice and what it would evolve into? Solboulder? And the same for Lunatone, an evolution would be silly.

Dugtrio would also have a bit of a silly evolution, what'd it be? Five Digletts?

Corsola, Kecleon, Swalot, Mawile, Farfetch'd, Torkoal, Skarmory, Aerodactyl ALL don't need evolutions - not every Pokemon needs to end up being giant. (Like the regrettable Magmortar)

Ones I agree with though: Pinsir (Maybe a Steel one to rival Scizor? Or something dual type anyway), Absol (I think a tiny version of Absol would be awesome!), Tauros (it could be double gendered and evolve into Tauros if male and Miltank if female), Kangaskhan (a preevolution for Kanga is LONG overdue)

Not sure about Stantler, Zangoose or Tropius though... Not sure that that'd work really tbh...

Oh also I forgot to add that lapras should hava a preevolved form and maybe even an evolved form that would make it look it epic because even though lapras is a good pokemon it does kind of look wimpy.

If we're only talking Gen IV Pokémon, then Pachirisu definitely. It can definitely stand to evolve into an equvilent of Raichu. I'm not sure how though. Electric/Flying would make a great type combo for it.

Chatot... it's possible it could evolve, but I don't mind if it doesn't.

I'd like to see Cherrim evolve. Maybe a fully-grown cherry tree? (But then it wouldn't be fairy-like anymore...)

Also, it's highly unlikely that Pinsir will get an evolution. Scyther only received one because it was horribly unbalanced (Bug/Flying has too many weaknesses to be used effectively, not to mention that it's movepool couldn't help it...).

Pinsir suffers no such issue. It's stats are great where they are. The only problem is that has only a single type. If it had a second type, like Ground. Then it would be a force to be reckoned with.

Kecleon, Mawile, and Farfetch'd do. They kind of really suck.

Maybe make it more Fairy-like?

Pachi would be nice to evolve. And Lumineon... possible. Maybe a Water/Electric for Lumineon?

Lumi could easily take on a Bug type as secondary, which would be good, since Surskit is the only one with that typing and they had to go and make it's evo another damn Bug/Flying type.

I'm hoping for the Pokemon who really need it: Arbok, Muk, Dunsparse, Luvdisk, and Xatu to evolve.

Pre evo's I would go with a Kangiskan pre evo, and a Tauros/Miltank baby.
