Pokemon that you forget were on the cast

What are some Pokemon that you forget or are least likely to remember were owned by the main cast or rivals at once point?

Some for me:

- Brock's Crobat, the thing got literally no screentime.

- Pineco/Foretress deserves a mention despite being on the show for 7 years. LMAO.

- Misty's Corsola and to a lesser extent Politoed. She only had them in the tail-end of Johto and got not much screentime.

- James Chimecho. I remember it, but it got really little screentime.

- Ash's entire Johto team sans Bayleef, Heracross and Phanpy. lol.

- Any Pokemon owned by Zoey not named Glameow, ditto for Kenny and Prinplup.
 
You're gonna hear a lot of "Kingler" and "Muk" in this thread.
 
Like, more than half of Kasumi and Takeshi's pokes xD
Musashi's Beroringa (Licki), what a waste of a pokemon!!
 
^ That's probably why it was traded

I also think Chimecho was replaced to early, I think it shounldn't have until half way through season 9 since James still has Mime Jr.

QFT. I can never remember what they have/had.

If it wasn't for the fact it was in this week's episode, I'd be surprised Manene hadn't come up. Poor thing. :-( Musashi using it in a Contest is all its done lately. That's just sad.

Better treatment than Chirean received :/ (Not that I'm complaining! xD)
 
Glalie, Lickitung, Shellder, Horsea, Kingler, Muk, Chimecho, Noctowl, Starmie, 2 Magikarp, and a Hoppip
 
Pretty much all of Misty's Pokémon except for Togepi and Psyduck... They didn't have any personality, sorry.

Also, WTF happened to Brock's Geodude?
 
I don't think there are any on the main cast that I would forget, but if we include rivals, then I probably don't remember most of the contest rivals', and I think Gary had a few misc. pokemon that we only saw once.
 
Horsea and Corsola. Especially Corsola--I had COMPLETELY forgotten it existed until watching some Johto Champion episodes afew years back on DVD.

Also, Forretress, whose lengthy tenure saw almost no use.
 
Ishitsubute (Geodude) always seemed like a waste to me. Like...before DP and Gureggru, whenever I thought of Takeshi, I thought Ishitsubute. And yet he decides to go to Houen with Forretress, of all pokemon?

It just seems weird that they would choose to have him pass up a chance to bring along a pokemon that has two evolutions (one of which would have been interesting to see play out in a non-game setting) for a fully-evolved pine cone.
 
^ What I don't is why Brock kept forreetress when he returned to the gym after hoenn, when DP came out I thought he would bring forretress with him for sure.

Every pokemon prior to AG that didn't belong to Ash had no personality, thought his pokemon during the original series had personality also except for Snorlax and Charizard, also Muk doesn't count because it didn't to get one until Johto. All other pokemon just had to walk around and be cute like pikachu, that's also why I hate piplup.
 
Misty's gyrados.
And most of ash's pokemon he never uses when the next series starts (he deposits them all before hoenn, then he does the same for sinnoh.)

This is the same writers who wouldn't even evolve Brock's Onix back in Johto, when Steelix was a new Pokemon at the time. Instead we had to wait till Battle Frontier to see Brock get a Steelix. I also agree Geodude should have evolved at least into Graveler, a Pokemon who has few appearances.

I think now we know why the writers only give Brock 3 Pokemon a region and don't allow him to capture anything new. Tracey and Misty's Pokemon didn't fare much better.

Hell I'd wager to say until Contests were introduced, Ash was the only character (aside from Team Rocket) whose Pokemon got any major use.
 
Tracey's Venonat, the least seen pokemon belonging to a main character of all time!
