Pokémon: The Rise of the Legend

Prologue​

Patia is a young girl from Pallet Town, and she is ready to start her journey, her parents work in the International Police, her father is stationed in Littleroot Town, while her mother is in Pallet Town.

Her father got her a Treecko from him friend Professor Birch. Her went back to Kanto for her birthday and handed it to her.

Now she was ready to start her journey.

Episode 1​

"And finally, your Trainer Card," Professor Oak said to Patia as he handed her a Pokédex, a Trainer Card and a few Poké Balls. "Good luck!"

"Thanks!" Patia exclaimed loudly and was soon running out of the lap, eager to start her journey.

She quickly reached her home. Joey, her brother, was playing outside with his Pidgey, which he caught using an unused Poké Ball his mother had while playing in Route 1.

Patia passed him and went into her house. Her mother was watching some report about a unique Gyarados, Patia took no notice of that and went up into her room, her backpack was on the bed, she grabbed it and stuffed all the stuff she just got from Professor Oak into it, including her Treecko Poké Ball.

Patia soon heard footsteps coming towards her room, it was her mother.

"You're leaving already?" Her mother asked.

"Yeah," Patia answered after zipping up her bag, indicating that she is ready to leave. "I'll just be in Route 1, training Treecko."

"Alright, take care."

"I will, see you later mom."

And so, Patia left her house, her brother was battling her friend, and Christopher was obviously winning, his Charmeleon got so much stronger after evolving from Charmander.

"I'll defeat you next, Patia." Christopher said.

"I won't battle you now," Patia replied. "I'll go train in Route 1."

"Who said I'm gonna lose?!" Joey said, almost screaming, his Pidgey has taken many hits, but is still standing firm."

"Charmeleon, use Ember!" Christopher said and Charmeleon obeyed, shooting fireballs at Pidgey.

"Pidgey, use Gust!" Joey yelled, Pidgey flapped his wings to create a small tornado of wind, but it missed, and soon Charmeleon attacked him again and Pidgey fainted.

"There," Christopher said. "I won, now it is time to defeat you Patia..." Christopher looked around, but Patia was nowhere to be found.

Patia had already reached Route 1, though instead of battling Pokémon, she was observing two Rattata playing together playfully. Something else soon caught her attention, a Pokémon has covered part of the sun, she pointed her Pokédex at it, and she got a name and a clear picture, it was a Dragonite.

"I thought they were all in some rare estranged island..." Patia whispered to herself.

Soon the Dragonite landed in Route 1 and walked towards Pallet Town, its back was facing Patia. There was a person on its back, but she couldn't see their face.

Patia observed as the Dragonite reached Pallet Town, and to her surprise, started shooting Hyper Beams randomly. She quickly got up to her feet and ran towards Pallet Town.

Many Pokémon which she never saw before were battling the Dragonite, as well as other Dragonite that the trainer on the original Dragonite sent.

There was chaos everywhere, many houses were burned, but the Dragonite were finally chased away. Patia was more concerned about her family than ever at that time, and she found them outside of their house, along with Christopher and his family. Their houses were next to each other, and none of them were burned.

A young man walked towards them, he was followed by a Pokémon Patia has never seen before.

"Allow me to explain." The trainer said calmly.

It's a great idea I have to say but I can't help but see the charecters moving and acting like 'robots'

I love the way you got sprites from games, that was a nice change. It's also nice to see it focused on a girl which is rare

I came to a few spelling mistakes 'lap' instead of 'lab'
Also I thunk it moves too fast. That may because the chapter is rather short also. It moves too fast when suddenly a dragonite appears and attacks the town.Or when she is suddenly leaving home with not much care from her family! I know how this happens in the games but personally I don't think it works in a fic if not done with a lot of detail. More description on the attak please.

I recomend doing the chapter again and trying to make it a tad longer with some more detail.
I like the idea and I don't want it to go to waste as it's good.

This is a good fic so far, all you need to do is add details, tell what the character(s) is/are thinking, and maybe make the chapters longer. Also, how did Patia get her Pokedex? I'm looking forward to the next chapter! (BTW, Treecko is my favorite starter! :bounce

Thanks for the feedback everyone . I'm kinda new to writing Pokemon Fanfics, I've written a couple before and they weren't that good :\. And Patia got her Dex from Prof. Oak, along with the Trainer Card.

Episode 2​

"Allow me to explain." The trainer said calmly.

Patia looked at the trainer, examining him carefully, he was taller than her, and his hair was dark red and spiked up, his clothing were tight on his body, they were black with some purple lines going down them. Patia was also curious about the Pokémon behind him; this was until he recalled it back into its Poké Ball by calling its name,
"Metagross".

"My name is Archard," The trainer continued. "The person you just saw, who attacked your town, is named Nukpana. He is a trainer whose goal purpose is to find the Rainbow Wing and Silver Wing. We don't know what he's after exactly."

"Who are you exactly?" Patia's mom asked.

"We are trainers from Blackthorn City, so was Nukpana. That is all you need to know." Archard said rudely.

Patia knew by the tone in his voice that they meant nothing to him.

"We will have to leave soon; one of us will remain here for the rest of the week in case Nukpana returns,"
Archard continued. "Although attacking the same town again is a very rare behavior by him, and there is nothing to worry about, we still want to keep everyone safe."

"You're saying there were other attacks?" Christopher asked. "How come we never saw any of the other attacks on the news?"

Archard simply grinned and walked away, other trainers were already waiting for him, and they all eventually left the town, leaving one female trainer behind.

The next morning, Joey was training Pidgey outside the house, as if nothing has happened at all the day before.

Patia thought about all that has happened the night before, and how Archard hadn't given them any clear or complete information. She was looking outside her window, Christopher approached their house, greeted Joey and knocked the door, her mother let him in, and she soon knew that he was here to see her.

Treecko was sleeping on her bed, breathing out slowly and quietly, Patia looked over her shoulder as the breathing patterns changed, he was awake.

Patia and Treecko didn't have much time to get to know each other, and now there was an awkward silence between them, even though he was just a Pokémon.

There was soon a knock on the door, and Treecko surprisingly jumped off of the bed and opened the door, it was Christopher.

"Hey Chris." Patia greeted him.

"Hey," Christopher replied. "Did you see the trainer they left to guard us? She's a little girl, I'm gonna challenge her."

"Why would you go that? She's supposed to protect us."

"I wanna see if she's as strong as those rumors about Blackthorn City's trainers."

"Alright, I doubt you'll win though." Patia said as she grabbed her backpack and walked out of the room with Christopher and Treecko.

"Are you gonna keep Treecko outside his Poké Ball?" Christopher said as they went down the flight of stairs, carefully observing his footsteps.

"I'll just let him stretch his legs." Patia responded, before realizing that Treecko was sitting on her backpack.

The group got out of the house, Joey was waiting outside for them.

"Are you guys going after that Blackthorn trainer?" Joey asked. Pidgey was sitting peacefully on his shoulder.

"Yeah," Christopher responded. "I'll challenge her."

"That'll be hard," Joey said. "She just defeated Lucy."

"Lucy?!" Patia yelled. "My enemy "Lucy"?"

"Lucy is a pretty good trainer." Christopher said.

"Either way, I'll come to watch." Joey said and joined the group.

Lucy got her starter before Patia did by a month, and she trained it for all that time, although it didn't evolve yet.

Patia's mind wandered about how Chris could possibly defeat the trainer. Blackthorn's trainers were known for their incredible strength and their powerful Dragon-types.

The group was finally at the tent which the trainer has set up, though she was outside with 6 Pokémon resting by her. Christopher got his Pokédex, which had a National Dex Mode, and recognized the Pokémon.

Seviper, Tyranitar, Horsea, Graveler, Treecko and Skarmory.

Patia's Treecko eyed the other Treecko weirdly, and immediatly felt challanged, he jumped off of Patia's backpack and ran towards the other Treecko. The Blackthorn trainer, who was cleaning Horsea in a small puddle of water, noticed the attack, but she was too late, her Treecko was already being Pounded, although she was attacking back, they both seemed to be equal in power.

"Stop it, Treecko!" Patia said as she started pulling her Treecko away.

After finally managing to pull her Treecko away, Patia returned it to its Poké Ball, and quickly apologized to the Blackthorn Trainer, who returned all her Pokémon to their Poké Balls.

"It's okay," The trainer said. "My Treecko gets a lot of Pokémon pissed off. I'm Judy by the way."

"Patia. Nice to meet you." Patia said and shock the trainer's hand.

The group kept talking for some time, Lucy was training her Bulbasaur in the distance against Joey and his Pidgey.

"How can we help?" Patia said, her Treecko was by her side now, eyeing Judy's Treecko.

Christopher's Charmeleon was by his side as well as his other Pokémon, Spearow and Mankey.

"You can try to join us," Judy said. "Although it will be extremely hard, we are stationed in the Indigo Plateau, and you will need 8 Gym Badges to get in there, and you have to go through tests and training in order to join us, but everyone is welcome to try."

And that became Patia's goal as well as Christopher, to join the Blackthorn Trainers and avenge their town.
