THANK YOU!

Please let this happen at my TRU... please.

Re: Pokémon to have expanded presence at Toys 'R' Us: Boutiques to feature U.S. debut

lol, so the Pokemon Center closed, but Toys R' Us is expanding that department in their own store.

US debut of TOMY stuff? But didn't they do the original figures? They all SAY "TOMY" on them anyway...

Re: Pokémon to have expanded presence at Toys 'R' Us: Boutiques to feature U.S. debut

They stopped for a while. Which pissed me off.

(I'll never understand why, either. You'd think it'd be more PUSA's thing to just sell JP merch made literally in house rather than have Jakks or Hasbro make US stuff)

Re: Pokémon to have expanded presence at Toys 'R' Us: Boutiques to feature U.S. debut

You know...I went to TRU today to get my Shaymin and seriously, if they want people to actually buy this stuff, they're going to have to stop price gouging. Their Pokémon stuff is INSANELY priced. I'd gone in intending to buy Platinum cards, but at a buck more a pack than anywhere else? Yeah, screw that.

Oh God, just what I didn't need, MOAR TOYS ;______;

Good thing the closest TRU is a few towns over and I don't have a car!

Re: Pokémon to have expanded presence at Toys 'R' Us: Boutiques to feature U.S. debut

I love the Tomy stuff, but the Jakks and Hasbro stuff is crap.

Re: Pokémon to have expanded presence at Toys 'R' Us: Boutiques to feature U.S. debut

I went to TRU for Shaymin yesterday and they do have a rather large section devoted just to pokemon merch. (It was located in the area right behind all the cash registers) Well from what I saw it is way overpriced. O.o

Re: Pokémon to have expanded presence at Toys 'R' Us: Boutiques to feature U.S. debut

I wish they sold more Pokemon stuff in the English Toys R Us (or just anywhere, for that matter) all they have at my Toys R US is a few plastic figurines. I want plushies, not little figures :/

Re: Pokémon to have expanded presence at Toys 'R' Us: Boutiques to feature U.S. debut

It'll be nice to have the chance to pick up the TOMY stuff, but I really don't want to pay TRU prices. They've always been so blasted expensive. (Trust me, Prime gets a bit cranky whenever we have to hit TRU for any toy exclusives; he just can't stand paying those prices. Can't say that I blame him at all.)

Re: Pokémon to have expanded presence at Toys 'R' Us: Boutiques to feature U.S. debut

Is it me or did Jakks stop making plushies? I've not seen any new ones for a while.

Hopefully these boutiques will bring us more plushie love.

Good job pokemans?

I'm not sure if the Jakks plushies did too well; my local Wal-Mart is clearing them out. Me, I loved buying them but I don't know if anyone else did. (Ask me about my giant plush Palkia. Seriously.)

And I'm hoping the same thing. I do love me some plushies.

They must have (with the exception of all those abandoned Sudowoodos and Bonsly and Croagunk), since they never stayed in stock around here.
