Pokémon Trading Card Game and Pokémon Crystal to feature as part of Speedromizer VIII, benefitting QMUNITY!

Speedromizer VIII is set to go live this weekend December 5th-7th, continuing with part 2 the following weekend December 12th-14th. Two Gameboy Color Pokémon games are scheduled for the 13th: Pokémon Trading Card Game and Pokémon Crystal, the latter of which will be a part of a multiworld alongside Tunic and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The event will be raising money for QMUNITY!, a resource center for LGBTQ+ people in British Columbia.

The twist of the Speedromizer marathon is that the games that runners submit are not what they run in the marathon. Each runner is given another participant's game, and is given 90 days to learn a new speedrun. Speedromizer has raised over $8500 for various LGBTQ+ charities since 2023.

The details and expected times for the Pokémon runs in this event is as follows.
