The fact that there's no starter kits implies there might not be a complete format overhaul straight out the gate... That's decent news.
 
Woot! They brought back levels and Pokedex information! Also, they're apparently keeping the Shinnoh legendaries as gods. I'm a little surprised.
 
And I just noticed the return of flavor text.

Yay, flavor text! Haven't seen that for a few years!
 
Wow, have they always had cards as powerful as that Dailga. They seriously gave it power over time. It's kind of cool (and almost cheating)!
 
Flavor text! Yay! That was one of the things I disliked about the EX series, so I'm thrilled that it's back. Sweetness!
