Pokemon: true power
Chapter 1: A day of tests
A long time ago, people live in this world by themselves; they lived in peace and harmony. One day strange creatures appeared on the world, this creatures had special powers and great abilities that could destroy the humans for sure.
Pokemon and humans were constantly fighting with each other, humans used weapons to kill pokemon, and pokemon used their powers to kill humans.
But one day a giant looking pokemon appeared. This pokemon was a great monster of evil that could destroy anything with its breath. This monster commanded pokemon to do the final attack on humans.
After a battle that took ages, the evil pokemon attacked both sides on his own; he even killed the powerful mewtwo. Humans were afraid of this pokemon but they knew that they had to make a truce with the pokemon to destroy this great evil.
They fought against the diabolical beast, a lot of pokemon and humans died on their attempt. Just when they were about to give up all hope a man decided to stand down and fight the monster till his death.
This man was called Arron, he was a warrior of the great kingdom; he was also one of the few humans that interacted with pokemon. His trusted lucario was always fighting alongside him, and they were also trying to stop the war between pokemon and humans.
They battled together but no matter what they did, every thing was lost. But in the last moment Arron used the power of his great magical spear and it charged the power of all humans and pokemon within it. This power was enough to seal away the beast.
The only problem is that the price for that great power was death it self. Arron told everybody that they should try their best to live at peace with pokemon no matter what, and that they should always remember this battle before they plan on doing something that could break peace.
After he died another great pokemon was born, ho oh, the great phoenix pokemon that became sacred and it started flying around the world verifying that peace stayed, and it also revived all the people and pokemon that died on the battle. Ever since then this day has been known as the Golden Day.
“So 500 years had passed since that day and people still haven’t forgotten what they promised” a man dressed in a brown coat, with a red tie and brown pants was reading the story to the kids in his class.
All of the kids were staring at the man from their desk. Most of them were gazing outside to see the town of Pallet town in the morning.
“Wake up class!” The man yelled throwing the book on his desk. The whole class jumped up and stared at the man. “Now that’s better” he got his book back and opened it again.
“So…” a huge explosion was heard on the central part of Pallet. “Stay here, I’m sure the police is already there” he said while he kept reading.
Down on the center a kid is running from the cops. The kid was wearing a blue jacket with white sleeves, he had a black shirt under it, blue jeans, black sneakers, a hat, and brown skin with a few lines on his face; like dirt lines.
“Try to catch me dumbasses” Ash yelled at the cops that were following him. The cops just got angrier and ran faster.
“Comeback here Ash Ketchum, this time we’ll catch you” the cop on the front said throwing his arm around. Ash got his tongue out at them. “Try to catch me first’ he made a turn on a close alley. “We got him” the cop said.
When they got to the alley Ash wasn’t there. “Damn it, we lost him again” the cop turned around and left. Ash had jumped over the wall at the end of the alley and was on a pile of flour that was on the other side. “Idiots” Ash laughed silently. He got up and dusted himself up. “God, I just wanted to make a few fire works and shoot them at Oak’s lab, I don’t know what the problem is” he said while he started walking.
Ash Ketchum was the trouble maker of Pallet, he was always making pranks to other people and he was always dissing people off. He lived with his mom Delia in Pallet and they were a small family, his dad had run out on them when he was a kid so he only had his mom.
Ash finally got into the class after scaping from those cops. The teacher shouted at him sot that he would tell him why he was late. “Sorry dude, but I was just having fun” Ash smiled. The class smirked, they couldn’t wait to hear Ash’s punishment.
“Dweeb” on kid said from the back. Ash jumped, “Hey shut up” Ash yelled. It turns out Gary Oak was the one that said that. He was wearing his usual blue jacket with brown pants and brown shoes; he was also wearing his yellow and green pendant.
“I said it so what” Gary smirked at Ash. Ash went to his seat and got closed to his face. “You think your so good ha Gary” Ash glared at him with fury. “Well after all I’m the best in the class” Gary brushed his hair; this got a lot of girls in the class to melt.
You see, Gary was the grandson of professor Oak, a great pokemon researcher and he studied pokemon all around. Thanks to that Gary became a great trainer he was good at controlling pokemon, and training them. Gary was also good with girls, they were always following him and they were all fighting for him, to the despair of Ash. Well Gary and Ash were different, Ash well he sucked to put in simple terms, he didn’t have fans or nothing so he hated Gary.
“Okay guys calm down” A deep voice said entering the classroom. The man had a white lab coat with a red shirt, he was wearing brown pants and moccasin shoes, and he looked around 60 so he had white short hair. This man was professor Oak the major authority in the pokemon world and Gary’s grandpa.
“Professor Oak is a great pleasure to see you” The teacher gave Oak a shirt to sit on; Oak just decided to stand. “So what are you teaching them now, Koichi” Oak asked the teacher. “I was just talking about the story of the Golden Day” he said. “Well that’s good, is good to see children be interested in those old traditional stories” Oak smiled at the class.
“Hey gramps” Gary said to his grandpa as he saw him coming. “Oh hey Gary, hey Ash” Oak said to both of them. “Hey old man, I heard someone was trying to set your house on fire, who knew all the violence in the town ha” Ash started scratching his head. “Yeah, your right” Okay winked at him; he knew it was Ash, it wasn’t the first time but Oak was very fund of him, he had a lot of confidence it reminded him of himself.
“Hey, Ash you know you should have respect for professor Oak!” Koichi yelled at him. “Oh come on, you know Ash can’t understand loud words, then again he can’t understand soft words either” Gary snickered at Ash; the whole class laughed at him after that. “Shut up Gary!” Ash yelled at Gary up close. Just them another kid got up he had to run to the bathroom; too bad for Ash he pushed him when he passed and he and Gary ended up kissing.
The whole class was grossed out at the sight, Ash jumped out of Gary’s sit; he started spitting out. Gary jumped out too, “That was gross, are you gay or something” he said getting some spit out. “No, but I’m pretty sure you were enjoying that” they started glaring at each other.
“Well, if we’re done with that” Koichi said getting the class’s attention back. Oak coughed up, “You see, I’m here cause all of you are fourteen already, which means that you can legally become trainers now, so today we’re having your final exams” Oak smiled at them passing papers with the rules for the final exams.
“Yeaahhhhhhh!!” Ash yelled not caring what the class would say. “Finally I can become the best trainer in the world” he said laughing confidently. “Yeah right, you can’t fight for nothing, plus I don’t think they let dumbasses become trainers” Gary laughed. “Shut up I’m going to show you, I’m going to past that exam and become a trainer” Ash said pointing at Gary. “Why don’t we just wait and see” they glared again.
“Okay, like I was saying this exams will be special ranking test” Oak stated; the whole class got a clueless face. “In other words, you’ll be battling with one member of the class, Koichi and I will be judges after each match and we will rank you on it” he paused before continuing. “You’ll be rank on numbers from one to five, if you get a three or more you’ll pass, if you get a two or less you fail” Oak coughed up a little bit after that.
“So does that means that we just have to repeat this year?” a kid in the front said. “Not really, you’ll just have to past summer school and you can start by the beginning of the year” Oak replied. “Well, tell that to all the suckers that aren’t me old man” Ash said getting up from his seat. “Seat down idiot” Gary pushed him down onto his seat.
“Okay, everybody grab your backpacks, we will be gone for the rest of the day so you have to bring your stuff” the teacher and Oak started walking out; Ash just stared at the class that was getting up. He clenched his fists and smiled, “Cool, today I’ll become a trainer!” Ash yelled loudly.
They went to a stadium that was next to the school, the stadium was a metal building it had blue stands in it; it also had a pokemon arena on the middle. A sh stared at the field. “Wow, I’m always surprised to see this” he said gazing. Gary went past him and smirked “Enjoy it loser, because this will be the only time you’ll see a pokemon field.” Oak walked up to them. “Since you guys have been having such a hard time on knowing who’s stronger, why don’t you guys have the first battle” Oak said putting his arms around both teenagers.
“Hell yeah, I got first battle and my chance to battle Gary” Ash said throwing his fist in the air; he jumped down on the field. Gary jumped down too; Ash just kept glaring at him and the class just sighed even Oak.
Koichi walked up to them. “Okay guys look at this” he showed them a red box and Oak came to them too. “Now, we will explain this, we rattle the pokeballs that are on the box around, once we’re done both of you will put your hands in and get a pokeball to use” Oak said rattling the box. Ash and Gary nodded. “Sorry Ash, winners firsts” Gary pushed Ash aside and put his hand on the box.
Gary finally got his hand out after a minute of choosing. “This guy will be it” Gary said getting a pokeball out and walking to his side of the field. Ash started walking back to the box and put his hand in. Ash felt something weird about one of the pokeball; it felt like it was giving off static. Ash smiled and took out the pokeball. “I’ll take this one, it feels like its better than the other ones” Ash laughed all around; he was showing off his pokeball.
Ash looked at the pokeball after having his daily show off time; he saw that the pokeball had a lightning sticker on it. “Hey loser you ready” Gary snapped his fingers to wake Ash up. “You better believe it” he clenched his teeth.
Gary threw his pokeball into the field. “Go pokeball” when the pokeball opened up an arcanine came out. The pokemon looked like a big dog, it had clear yellow fur on its head and its chest, its body was orange with black stripes, he had a yellow tail, and crystal blue eyes. “Arcanine I must be lucky” Gary smirked at the sight of having a great pokemon at his side.
“Oh really, well this pokeball has a lightning on it, I’m sure is a strong pokemon” Ash threw the pokeball with all his strength; Oak recognized Ash’s description, Ash was now in deep trouble.
The pokeball popped open and a pikachu came out. It was a yellow color rat, with brown stripes on its back, it had long yellow ears with black on the top, it also had a tail in the form of lighting. Ash almost jumped out of happiness. “Cool a pikachu” Ash said practically jumping.
“A rat, and a dog that’s an easy win right there” Gary laughed. “Oh really, well this pikachu can beat your arcanine any day, right buddy” Ash turned to the pikachu. Ash tried to give it a handshake but it electrocuted him.
“I feared this would happen” Oak said moving his head. “What is it professor?” Koichi asked looking at Oak. “Well, you see that pikachu has a problem, its too powerful that’s why I had to put it in a special pokeball, but it still isn’t enough, I think Ash is in a real problem if he has to fight with that pokemon” Oak had a serious smile on his face. “But why did you put it in there?” Koichi asked confused. “I didn’t, it must have slipped up when I was putting it” Oak said.
Ash finally got up. Gary laughed, “That thing doesn’t even listens to you dude, your dead.” The whole class stared at Ash before laughing. “Well, I’m going to show you all, I’ll be the best” Ash clenched his fist.
“Now go” Koichi said putting the flags down. “Go arcanine use flamethrower” Gary’s arcanine fired a huge jet of flames at pikachu. “Okay pikachu use quick attack to dodge!” Ash ordered. But pikachu wouldn’t move. The flamethrower was about to hit. “Pikachu, moveee!” Ash yelled.
