Hi guys,
I run a pokemon league, and as I was taking care of some league related business, I noticed that under the "My Play! Pokemon page", it listed "VG Premier Rating: Coming Soon" and "VG Championship points: Coming soon". Those of you without trainer accounts can verify this by checking out the pokemon videogame championship page:
Video Game Championship Series | Pokemon.com
Each championship now has a k-value which is associated with a person's premier rating.
Just speculation here, but it seems to me like TCPI is trying to set up a competitive circuit much like for what they have for the TCG. I'm guessing the reason why there aren't any VG Battle Roads yet is that they need to find a way to efficiently train judges to weed out illegal pokemon. Or maybe there's some special equipment involved? Idk, I've never judged for a pokemon VG tournament so I don't know how all that works...
Anyway, just thought you guys would appreciate this information.
