I wrote up a Pokémon challenge called the Life Challenge.

Here are the rules for those who don't want to watch the video:
Life Challenge Rules:
1. Pokémon have 3 lives by default, with the exception of cat Pokémon who have 9.
2. When those lives are out, and the Pokémon faints again, 1 of 3 things will happen:
a. It will survive (80%).
b. It will die (10%). If this occurs, the Pokémon must either be released, permanently boxed or traded to an NPC as a scam.
c. It will be critically injured (10%). If this occurs, the Pokémon must be boxed for at least 3 hours.
If it is knocked out by a lower level/not very effective move, it must be kept in the box for an additional hour for each level lower, and/or for 1 additional hour if it is knocked out by a not very effective move.
If it is knocked out by a higher level/super effective/critical hit, it must be kept in the box for an additional 2 hours for each 5 levels higher, and/or for 1 additional hour if it is knocked out by a super effective/critical hit.
5. "Battle Style" must be set to "Set".
6. Maximum of 2 Pokémon can be captured in each area (excl. Shinies & Legendaries). Trading doesn't count. This restriction is removed after beating the Champion.
7. Pokémon must have at least one move of their type (where possible, excl. Normal types).
8. [Optional] Nickname every Pokémon.
9. [Optional] Do not use Legendaries in Gym/Elite Four/Champion Battles.
To decide whether your Pokémon lives, dies or is critically injured; go here and then put in "Survive" 8 times, "Die" once, and "Critical" once (all on different lines). Then click randomize and use number 1.
