Pokemon XD discussion

I know BMG is for all practical purposes an anime site, but that's no reason for us to completely ignore this game. >.>

Anyway, apparently there are places where you can catch wild Pokemon - definitely good, although I hope you can catch more than the 9 that SPP has listed.

Still haven't heard much word on the plot though - SPP's walkthrough needs to be updated. This is really the part I'm most interested in. Also would like to know about the length.

Only 9 wild pokémon catchable? That sucks... Oh well, it's better than no pokémon catchable at all.

Indeed, but it seems almost silly to think that you can only catch 9 Pokemon like that.

Coronis has a Q&A thread about XD on SPPf.

I actually re-registered there (my first account was apparently deleted) to ask if XD had any references to people/places/events from the GB(A) series, which Colosseum had none. His answer was, unsurprisingly, that he saw no references, continuing to support my easily disputable theory that Orre is in a completly seperate universe. After I mentioned this theory, I got this response from one who shall not be named:

Oh please, if you go around a few towns in reality you dont hear people talking about New Zealand, doesn't mean its in a diffeerent universe to us

BTW, I've created a few stubs on Bulbapedia about this game, if anyone's interesting in adding to them.

My friend told me that XD got a lower review total than Colloseum. Not good. T.T;; If I didn't like Colloseum, I doubt I'm going to like XD.
