Pokemon you find interesting

I was thinking, what pokemon do you find interesting for various reasons?

Mine are:

Blastoise - only pokemon that looks like it has something man made sticking out of it (cannons on back)

Gallale - Its cool because its only a head, and a cool looking one, although shiny one with red pars is freaky.

Sceptile - one of the few pokemon that learns leaf blade. Its big, but then again it should have been part fighting.

Wobuffett - After seeing TR's, I like it more. Good counter pokemon

Hitmonlee - As it looks like "Cousin IT" from Adams Family and it and because of its long legs

Machamp - only pokemon with 4 arms and first time I saw it, I wondered what it would be like if I had two extra armson my shoulders.

Seel/Dewgong - maybe cause of their anime cry's.

Spheal - Cute round clapping pokemon. Liked it since it first appeared in anime.
 
I find the story behind the Regis to be very interesting. Ancient guardians, sealed away by those they protected? What went wrong there? And how could those guardians be so weak?
 
I'd aree with regis. I found Regice anime cry cool and their in game cry's cool too. Wonder what the actual story behind them areand why they are sealed away like that?
 
There are Pokémon that are supposedly from space; the only ones I can think of right now are Starmie and Clefairy. What's they're story? Where did they come from, and what are they doing here?
 
Arn't solrock and lunatone supposed to be from space too? I don't know where I read this, but they were supposed to have fell of a comet or something.
 
^Deoxys is also from space.

I'd like to know why/how Dugtrio is considered to be one being, instead of three.

Also, why is Mr. Mime's gender ratio 50/50, instead of 100% male? And why does it have a cry (both in games and anime)? It's a mime.

Um, maybe because it's just a name? Geez!
Also, the most interesting pokémon in my opinion are Mewtwo, Deoxys, Rayquaza (mainly because of my fascination with the supposed existence of atmospheric beasts) and the Regis.

Don't forget Jirachi's from space!

But as for myself, I find a lot of pokemon very interesting, one way or another. I find all the legendaries interesting due to their back stories. Rotom I find interesting mainly due to the energy that pulses around it: how does it keep the energy in the electric parts, Stableye and it's teeth are really interesting and how it eats. I like their quirkiness.. but that's all I can remember for now, but generally I can find at least one thing interesting about every pokemon design wise.

Even Coughing comes to mind as interesting: it has the skull and cross bones, human universal symbol for poison. If we were to believe them as real then is the symbol coincidence or is it an evolutionary effect due to wanting to scare off humans, or is it from imitating signs that it might find in it's habitat. (Will they change to radioactive signs in the future?)

Probably because there are plenty of real animals that have "King" in their names, like Kingfisher or King Snake. Nobody ever wonders why there are female Kingfishers and King Snakes even though they have "King" in their names.
