Pokemon you want to see in Johto BF

Well since the release of HGSS and the whole Dawn's Cyndaquil thing I thought it would be obvious by now that Ash is going to Johto to compete in the Battle Frontier and Dawn in the contests(I think). I am just wondering what Pokemon you would all like to see in it.

I personally would like to see a little more of his Johto ones like Bayleef, Totodile and CYndaquil. I would also like to see the Kanto 4 (although it might do a little harm with them winning Ash the Kanto BF). Snorlax and some of his Hoenn ones would be epic also.

Anyone think that they might make the last BF trainer come down to Bayleef, Totodile, Pikachu and Cyndaquil like they did before. I think this is unlikely since the Johto ones don't have the strength Charizard, Squirtle and Bulbasaur have.

You mean Dawn?

Hopefully he will use is older Pokemon that haven't been used in a long time.
 
Sorry my bad but yeah I meant BF for him and Contests for Dawn. lol could you imagine Ash in contests (I don't mean one off ones, I mean as a career).
 
I'd rather see his Hoenn Pokemon, Kingler, Muk, and his Kanto Pokemon get the major battles.

The Johto starters/Noctowl will probably get at least one or two Brains though.

The Kanto trio weren't really especially strong in their saga either
The writers play with Poké's strength all the time
The Kanto trio didn't really do much to deserve being so super strong all of a sudden - the writers simply made them so strong for their big return in important battles (they also did this with Torkoal)
If the Johto team appears again, they might be super strong all of a sudden just like them

Anyway, we can't know what will happen after Sinnoh
The BF is in Sinnoh but Ash didn't say he'll participate at it... and even if he will, it might not be enough to fill the wait for next gen so who knows what we'll get after Sinnoh
We better just wait and see, there's not much to base a logical speculation on right now
 
True about there being a BF in Sinnoh Piplup but don't forget about there being yet a third BF in HEartGold and SoulSilver. Tricky or what.

The Johto Battle Frontier is non-existant at this point ever since they basically made the Brains the same as the Sinnoh Battle Frontier, AND they stated that Palmer was the leader of the Sinnoh Battle Frontier, without even MENTIONING the Johto Battle Frontier.
 
Yeah, I definitely want some of his Johto pokes to come back. I hardly remember any of them and they had such abused screentime.

Bayleaf, Cyndaquil (though this might be unlikely since dawn was given one...darn you writers), Totodile, and Heracross would be cool.

But if it follows the base of precious seasons, he will take Pikachu plus one Pokemon he already have and just create a new team.

Its not surprising people don't remember them. Its been almost 8 years since Ash used them in any battle.
 
My guees for Ash's team:

1. Pikachu (obvious)
2. Monferno/Infernape
3. Totodile/ Croconaw (IMO he'll evolve at least once) or Bayleef/Meganium (evo as well)
4. Gliscor
5. wild card
6. wild card
 
I hope Totodile gets to travel with Ash's team. I don't mind who gets Oak'd as long as it's not Gliscor.

It's going to be hard to rotate between his travelling team and reserves this time, though. For the Kanto BF there were more battles and less reserve Pokes - so obviously there'll be a few who miss out. Hopefully Bayleef gets a battle this time, as well as the other two Johto starters and Noctowl. I don't mind if Donphan gets snubbed seeing as it got to travel last time, and Heracross got a battle in against Spenser.

I also hope that Muk or Kingler get some love this time, too. I don't know about the Hoenn team, though... they don't feel 'old' yet - even though they haven't seen the light of day for 3 years now. (to the week, in fact)

By the time Sinnoh ends, the Hoenn Pokemon wouldn't have been used in about 4 years. They're basically as old as his other Pokemon now. Glalie even moreso, since Glalie wasn't used after the Hoenn league.

Also, people are crazy if you really think Ash won't at least bring back Sceptile for a battle.
 
The Pokémon that I would love to make return appearances for Johto Battle Frontier would be Ash’s Sceptile and Muk.
 
What I think would be great if they had a double battle with Ash using Kingler and Corphish
