Curious if other folks have some pokemon they've been meaning to use on a team for forever, but just haven't ended up doing so yet.

For me, it's a lot of different Unovan pokemon, since there are so many to choose from, and so many with such late evolution levels that they end up being really hard to use! But mainly, I really want to use the Mienfoo/Mienshao line at some point, if I can get over the level 50 evolution.

Mienshao is a fantastic Pokémon in my opinion! Surely helped me in PWT while dealing with Fighting-type Gym Leaders! Assuming the role of a glass-cannon, you have to be sure to strike everything in one shot, otherwise the poor thing would not survive more than two hits. I taught mine Dual Chop in order to deal with Dragon-types holding Focus Sashes, so satisfying!

I have never played the most recent Pokémon games... Specifically from Generation VI onwards. One Pokémon I would love to give a shot is Phantump. I absolutely love the little guy's design! The dual Grass/Ghost-type surely is interesting! I wonder... What kind of strategies can be done with a fully trained Trevenant?

Perhaps I should finally give X and Y a run!

Sooo many... a lot of which happen to also be from Unova as well. A lot of them are also Gen 8 & 9 Pokemon, since I feel like we haven't gotten enough time with them yet. :hmm:

Sawsbuck, Braviary, Heatmor, Archeops, Orbeetle, Grapploct, Lokix & Galarian Darmanitan are on my list to be put in a team soon.

There are so many, but Magnezone, Medicham, Parasect, Braviary, Ribombee, and Shiftry all come to mind first.

Tyranitar is the first one that comes to mind! Mixed w/ the fact Larvitar is kind of a diffcult Pokemon to capture before post-game in the Johto games (HGSS makes this easier for sure lol, I just haven't had the patience to mess with the Safari Zone in most playthroughs.)

I was considering using one for my PLZA playthrough, but I ended up using Garchomp instead. (Garchomp is another Pokemon I've thought about using for a long time, and so it balanced out there imho.)

Any fossil Pokemon, Kabutops especially. I love his design but by the time I reach Cinnibar most of my team are in the 40s, and since I mainly play FRLG over gen 1, Kabuto is only level 5 when revived and I can never be bothered leveling him up.
I also really like Cradily, but have rarely used it because I just skip the desert, or am doing a challenge where I beat the game with 1 Pokemon, so theres no point getting the fossils. Maybe one day I'll do a Cradily only run.

in pokemon emrald i had an harima level 30 but i just didnt use it much after the electric gym and it went straight to the pc it was a good pokemon for the early game but did not hold much after that

When I did my HGSS Nuzlocke about 10 years ago I trained up Tyranitar just for the final Red battle. You can't really use it beforehand unfortunately. I think in the newer games you can get it earlier so I recommend that.

Lileep is very weak starting out and barely gets any good moves. You gotta be patient while training since Cradily isn't a powerhouse either. Still, Cradily is one of my favourite Pokémon so I'd say give it a go!

As for me I'm interested in using a deep sea Pokémon from Hoenn. Relicanth comes to mind because it's the easiest to get, but Huntail would be cool too. In Hoenn there's so many choices for Water Pokémon and at that point in the game you already have to have to even get underwater. Sharpedo is probably the most convinient since it learns other HM moves too. Walrein is a solid choice too, as is Ludicolo when it's available. Not even taking into consideration arguably the two best Pokémon in the game Gyarados and Swampert. I wanna put those niche Water Pokémon hidden under the surface to use too >_>
