pokepalooza: the best theme park!

hello, and welcome to pokepalooza! pokepalooza is a pokemon theme park, with rides, food, games, and prizes! Your job at the pokepalooza is to catch a pokemon and not just enjoy the attractions- rather, advertise the attractions with the fun you're having! Pokepalooza is a small theme park with very little customers at all! You're job is to find the best way to attract people to our fun little theme park! You have no pokemon right now, but venders will help you out! just fill out these forms and you're on your way:

once you've gotten that taken care of, you can come on down to bob's battle bombardment, where you can catch your first pokemon! you can borrow a pokemon and battle one of the pokemon, and get a chance to capture it! the pokemon you may borrow are: all of the starters, pichu, togepi, and sentret.

Age: 16
Gender: Female
Favorite rides: rollercoasters (if they're wooden), themed rides, Ferris wheel, water rides, bumper cars, carousels
Personality: Very friendly, and laid back, but very sneaky and determined in a battle arena. She also has a keen eye for detail, and as such, is keeping her eyes peeled for Hidden Pikachus.
Appearance: Deep brown hair, green eyes, a rainbow tie-dye T-shirt, black pants and black shoes.

(Hidden Pikachus can be the Pokeworld's answer to the Disney parks' Hidden Mickey)
 
Name: Chernabog
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Favorite rides: The Rayquaza (a Pokeworld counterpart to Sea World's Kraken)
Personality: He is pretty laid-back for the Pokemon Champion. The Pokemon he brought with him is Ho-Oh, who expects Ash and May to kiss.
Appearance: Much like the Pokemon trainer in GSC, except with demonic red eyes as the only difference. And light-brown hair.
 
Bob: welcome to the park! step right up and pick a pokemon! it'll help you pick a winner!
 
"Let's see here..." Maya smiled as she stepped into the room holding the pens where the various Pokemon were stored....without first documenting the Pikachu ears on the TV--her first Hidden Pikachu sighting for the day. Once the not so well Hidden Pikachu's location was written down, Maya stepped inside the room, surveying the various Pokemon that were all calling to her, as if to say "Pick me! Pick me!" But beyond all the Bulbasaurs, Charmanders, Squirtles, and other starters vying for her attention, she noticed one little Pichu huddled in the corner all by itself.

"What's the matter with that Pichu?" Maya asked Bob as she documented another Hidden Character--an outline of Ash's face in the woodwork
 
However, Chernabog was on the other side with his Ho-Oh. He also spotted the weird-looking Hidden Pokemon. This time, it was Rayquaza.

Chernabog went on the Rayquaza with Ho-Oh on the front seat.
 
Bob: oh, that's just Chee. she's hasn't got much control over her power...people don't seem to want to pick her since she usually makes the pokemon faint, but you can try to control her, if you like.

Coleen: oh, hey, bob! sorry I'm late, I just was grooming some pokemon for the show- I-I mean....testing rides? anyways, I pick that sentret over there, was it donated?

Bob: yes, it was just left at the park here...I wonder who left it.

Coleen: well, let's get the first game started!....oh, hello what's your name? (she's talking to maya)
 
"My name is Maya Nijiiro." I explained, presenting my ticket and press pass to the attendant. "and I'd like to attempt to handle Chee."

Upon hearing her name, the Pichu tensely approached my hand...and after stroking her head for a little while, she mustered the courage to climb into my hand...
 
Name: Alexa Rei
Age: 12
Gender: Female
favorite ride(s): ones that have more "oooo, ahhhh" to them than "EEEKKK!"
personality: A bit timid, Alexa loves to play with pokemon. She also can spot a weak spot in a heartbeat.
appearance: Looks like GSC girl except hair is purple and in pigtails.
 
Name: Josh Verason
Age: 18
Gender: male
Favorite rides: Anything as long as it isn't tedious and slow
Personality: Josh is kind, but keeps to himself a bit.
Appearance: he has dark hair, he's tall, he wears a white shirt and light brown waist coat. He also weres linen trousers and trainers. he is always seen with his Blaziken, no matter what (so I guess he's comming along too)

Age: 12
Gender: Female
favorite ride(s):Anything lightning fast with lots of loops.
personality: Fun-loving and cheerful
appearance: Light skin, long light brown hair, blue eyes, blue short sleeve shirt, dark jeans, and blue and white striped arm warmers.

Kat walked into the park, looked around, and then headed off to Bob's Battle Bombardment. When she got there, she also noted the Pikachu ear TV, and also another hidden Pika--there was Pikachu face engraved in the wall. "Hello.." she said, looking at all the Pokemon hoping to be chosen. A group of Sentrets caught her attention. "Um, Bob?" she asked. "Can I have one of those Sentrets?" she pointed to the liveliest one, hopping up and down on its tail. "That one?"
 
"I think Chee likes me.." I told the attendant as the little Pikachu clambored on my shoulder.

(for the curious, a Hidden Pikachu is either a Pikachu face or some other part of Pikachu hidden in an unexpected location--there are also other Hidden Characters...the face in the woodwork is supposed to be a Hidden Ash.)
 
Bob: sure, little lady, you can have the sentret! ok, are you ready to play?

*everybody at the booth(or almost everybody) give an agreeing cheer*

Bob: ready...set....

Coleen: GO! *she pushes a button in the wall, and lots of basic-stage, common to rarely found pokemon fling out from another compartment in the booth. immediately they start milling around, while some have their eye on the trainers, obviously itching to battle*
 
"Blaziken! calm down, or you go back in your ball, ok?" Josh threatened, holding up a pokeball with a flame symbol on it. It was lucky it was taught human speech to react
"Ok, but I want to go on these rides! it looks exciting!" Blaziken was more jumpy than usual today, his wrists occasionally flared with anticipation. the two of them headed over to a building where they kept all the pokemon usually given to those who first start their journeys. Blaziken wandered over to the Totodile who was being bullied by a Bulbasaur
"Hey Josh?" the fire bird called "can we look after this Totodile for today? it's being bullied by a Bulbasaur"
"Well, ok. I hope that you'll keep it out of trouble"
"No problem. I'll look after her" the two of them wandered over to Bob and asked if they could look after the Totodile
 
the torchic charged at chee, but it tripped and fell.

meanwhile a hoppip kept brushing up to coleen, she command sentret to use quick attack, but the hoppip refused to fight.
 
"Chee, shock the Torchic again!" I commanded. Chee obediently charged another Thundershock...but it bounced all over the walls for a moment before hitting the Torchic again.

Chee was a little saddened that her attack had missed--or so she thought--, but I patted her head again as I reached for a spare Poke Ball. "You didn't miss...you got it weakened enough!" I assured her as the red and white ball sucked the Torchic in...

One...

Two...

Three...

Chee let out a squeak of excitement--I had caught the Torchic!
 
Bob: good job, you now have a torchic to raise!....what's that? *josh tells him about the totodile*..well, only if it's ok with coleen, it's her pokemon.

Coleen: sure it is! ^^....*the hoppip won't stop snuggling her*......ok, glowpop, you win! let's go ride some rides or something....Bob, you can handle this place on your own, right?

Bob: uh sure, I-*all of the pokemon cheer and pile on Bob*....get off me!!!!
 
"Thank you." I smiled at Bob and Colleen. I took the ball with my new Torchic and strolled into the sunshine, Chee in tow.

"Where would you like to go? I asked the Pichu. She was unsure at first, but then some happy music caught her attention--the carousel was not far from where we were....Chee must've been mesmerized by the ornately painted Rapidashes, Suicunes, Tauros, and other Pokemon.
