The Pokeradar was roughly, the most popular way to Shiny Hunt for older players back in the Generation IV days. However, it was taken out in HGSS, and has yet to return.

Do you guys agree? I personally think that the Pokeradar is the most helpful tool for Shiny Hunting there is, but it takes Eons to learn.

Yeah, I'd love to see it come back. I got at least 7 or so shinies in DPPt just using it.

Only bad thing about it for me is that it'll lead to me drawing on my 3DS screen with marker to be exact with shaking spots, given they don't change the mechanics of it XD

YES! I'd absolutely love it if they brought the Pokeradar back!
It took me 2 days to chain my first shiny and I've chained a bunch more ever since.

Chaining was a good way to get shinies and I thought the Poke Radar was a neat feature in Gen 4 although it's difficult to master. I got 10 shinies from a single chain on a really good day though and even found a random shiny( in a regular patch, not a shiny patch) on another good day. I wouldnt mind seeing it come back, though it won't be the end of the world if it dosent, especially if they continue giving out the Shiny Charm for completing the Pokedex.

I'd love it if they brought back this, as the Vs. Seeker. Those were both my favourite ways of finding Pokémon and re-battling trainers. In addition, with the shaking spots we now have from Black and White we could have a chance to put some super (duper awesome) rare Pokémon that you can only get by matching a shaking spot and a pokeradar shaking spot. And potentially making normal shaking spots only Audino, which would be great for training.

This thing was fun to use, although I did get tired of it after awhile cause I got absolutely nothing from it.

Still, I wouldn't mind seeing it again. It, along with the Vs. Seeker.

Oh, definitely!

I really had a great time with the PokéRadar, seeing it make a comeback would be awesome, and I definitely found it to be the most efficent way in getting Shinies. Never really was a fan of breeding.

Also, as Angela-Samshi mentioned, the return of Vs. Seeker would also be greatly appreciated. I used it a lot in D/P/Pt, and it's a really great item when it comes to training.

I really really want it back to help me shiny hunt for gen 5 and 6 mons, but im skeptical that it will be be since it hadn't returned for gen 5

But I don't tend to be one to count something such as an item returning completely out.

Well, I wouldn't want both to be in the Game, that would make Shinies too easy, IMO. Although, I would like to see both return if the Shiny Charm didn't enhance the radar as much as Running into a Shiny in the wild (example: 1 in 4600 chance of finding a Shiny with both items activated)

Any way to slightly increase the ability to catch shiny pokemon gets a thumbs up in my book. I love the randomness of coming across one, but doing it the natural way is hair tuggingly frustrating when I think about it. And I don't even hunt for shinies. The only time I ever came across them was while hunting for a Pikachu in the Viridian Forest and grinding before a gym battle in leaf green and fire red respectively. I get it, they're rare. But for being nothing more than a pallet swap of any pokemon, you'd think it reasonable they'd be a wee bit more easy to come by!

Note that this doesn't mean I want shinies handed to me. I'd still enjoy finding an unexpected surprise... but not when that unexpected surprise happens to be when I don't have any pokeballs yet at the start of the game and I know I'll probably never see another shiny again.

I'd like the PokeRadar to return, but it's no big deal to me if it's left out.

I never really used it, but lots of others loved it, so they might as well.
