Hey!
I recently posted this on Simple Questions/Simple Answers but there wasn't really much of a response, but I'm posting again because I think it's worthwhile to point out.
I've recently been training a Joltik when I realised that it had lost its Pokerus without leaving a smiley face, twice.
I did a test yesterday and I infected 3 Pokemon using my Crawdaunt (which was the Pokemon I'd used to infect Joltik both times previously). And when I opened my game today I found that all 3 Pokemon had lost Pokerus (with no smiley face). I took photos both times, but I realised they were pretty redundant because I could've easily taken the cured photos before infection (so you only have my word for it)
Not sure if anyone has experienced this as well. According to the Pokerus page, Pokerus strains of "X values of 0 are not legitimate, since upon being "cured" the Pokémon would appear to have never had Pokérus at all." I was thinking that maybe that in Pokemon X/Y it's now possible to obtain a strain X = 0 such that when cured, the Pokemon is left with no trace at all (and can be reinfected) (In my case, Crawdaunt may be passing on strain X = 0?)
What do you think is happening? Or is this a glitch in XY?
