I made a bat and ball game thread a bit ago but it had me thinking on what Pokémon would actually play in terms of sports. I think it's cool Pokémon Unite is essentially an in universe sport, though I question the small Pokémon used as fodder to get beaten up for xp, lol. But are there any real world sports that you can see being adapted into Pokémon played sports? Or perhaps something entirely new? I'd imagine stuff would get different quickly with how many Pokémon abilities, moves, and whatever else there are. You can post rules, teams, thoughts, whatever else. Maybe it's a sport organized by humans for their Pokémon to play, or maybe it's a sport Pokémon play by themselves in their own mystery dungeon esque communities. I might expand on that Pokémon baseball thing I brought up in the other thread here at some point. Anyway yeah.

My first random thought was ice figure skating. I dont know why. I just think it would be funny. Imagine a spinarak having skates on all its little legs and having to use spiderwebs across the rink in order to not fall down

I think Pokémon should put more focus in beauty sports rather than just blood sports. I know they have the contests as like a mix of everything but I'd like to see more trainers focused on a bunch of other potential stuff too.
